Q: 6. I always ran out of the ribbon before the photopaper, I feel it's sich a waste. Do I have to always change the whole set( Ribbon and paper) or is it possible to just put a new ribbon in and keep using the rest of the paper till it rans out?

A: You want to change both at once. It's designed for that. At the end of the roll, you have a couple of feet more. The print packs are always sold with both paper and ribbon, so you really wouldn't gain anything except a big headache. I suspect that the extra footage is for when you have the 8x10 print pack. The ribbon has to be different to accommodate 8x12, but they can just use the same paper roll for both. It also wastes paper when you first insert a roll by slicing off pieces while it registers the position of the paper.

Q: 7. How long will the paper last if you only use 50 pictures out of it at one event and have to wait to use it for another?

A: Typically paper like this has a pretty good shelf life. If you left it for up to a year we would recommend using fresh stock, but it should still be good for all applications if its left unused less than 1 year.

A: Probably doesn't come with paper. 4x6 is the standard media.

A: No. The DS80, would only be able to print on 8x10 and 8x12 roll paper. But the DNP S80DX, would be able to print from a 4x8 - 8X12. I have attached that printer below.
