Using the modeling light with the battery, just drains the battery faster. While, obviously, using the battery doesn't require any power cords, it's rather frustrating to be in the middle of a shoot and the battery dies. The AC adapter has a power cord, but I also don't worry about having to stop a shoot. Great for the studio! 5

It works well. Fit is right, comes with about a 15' cord. Really a great addition for my home studio, powering my Godox AD400Pro (which has been a solid strobe for me, and the modelling light gives me enough light to focus well). 5

I love having the option to plug in my AD400 at receptions or a long headshot session. The peace of mind knowing I will not run out of juice at any time during the session is one more thing I don't have to think about. I LOVE the batteries for all my Godox flashes, but just in case, it's nice to be able to plug in your strobe as needed. 5

When I bought my Godox 600 strobe flash. I was happy a lot. After use I don charging my battery, when I try to charge again does not work. And I bought another equal battery. And I have same problem with the original battery. Now I get a new one . I connect to direct light and work same the original. 5

This is an example of an accessory done right. Though, I wish it was included with the light rather than an 'extra'. Comes with a C13 cord, which is great because you can pick up extensions or longer ones for low prices. 5
