I bought this camera to go on vacation and didn't want to lug along my 7DII and lenses. The picture quality is amazing, especially in low light. The one thing that would make it better is a little more reach than 100mm

Good camera, lots of options to customize it to your use pattern. The case from this kit barely fits the camera, especially tight fit when you carry an extra battery. Wifi connection to iPhone app works great. Although the absence of GPS in the camera means you have to remember to turn on GPS logging on your phone app before using the camera, which drains your phone battery a lot more. No Mac wifi syncing app, so I have to go back to connecting the sd card to my MacBook. Don't sync all pictures to your phone if you plan to later import from the sdcard because some metadata (like lens info) doesn't transfer to the MacOS Photo.app through the iPhone syncing method.

Still evaluating, but all looks good. Over 800 pics so far.

I purchased this camera mainly for vlogging and having fun, all because i do all my work with my Canon 5d Mark iii. but i must say ever since I've got the G7xii I've been leaving the mark iii home alot and shooting with the G7xii. the G7X is not a replacement but it can definitely do a great job taking photos, videos and is great for vlogging. the camera is great in low light also. i have no complaints.

Great little camera. I carry this around when not wanting to bring a DSLR or Mirrorless camera.

I shoot professionally with full frame Nikons, and the heavy glass that goes along with it. For travel and more casual use, I was using a Nikon d7000. Still, a little large, somewhat heavy, and attracts attention. I thoroughly researched small pocket cameras, and chose the G7 x. It is amazing! Never owned a Cannon, and I thought it would take a while to adjust to the menu, but not so.Very easy to understand. Only had to look at the manual twice. I took it to several parties, where I probably would have lugged the d7000, or left it in the trunk. It was liberating. The images are sharp have beautiful color. Auto white balance works great. If you have experience with DSLRs, You will be able to get a lot out of this camera.

I replaced my 4 year old S100 Canon with this G7X Mark II, and I am very happy with the increased resolution and more user controlled functions. I wish it had not cost so much more, but searching and looking online it is holding it's value both retail and on the used market, therefore I made the jump. This is unlike some other point and shoots that drop in price when used. It's heavier and larger than my S100 was, but only a little and well worth al the extra features. The only thing wrong with all most all mirror less cameras is, that they don't have a viewfinder for outdoor use when the daylight obscures the LCD display. This pertains to all cameras of this type, and is only a minor issue and unavoidable. The flash is adequate as is the zoom range. I print large format photos using mostly an FX (full frame) Nikon, but this small G7X with 20.1 MP will still make a large (36) canvas with very acceptable resolution. I only shoot video now an then, but it also works well. Love the camera, buy it if you have the extra money and need the controls this offers, otherwise the G9X is similar. B&H has the best customer service and returns, so I always buy from them.

This camera is amazing! Ive been using it for the past month now and I have no complaints! I did have an issue with the battery where it would die faster than usual, but when i addressed it to the customer service people at B&H, it was taken care of with no questions asked! AMAZING! Love the experience and customer service here!

Didn't expect much use from the screen tilt feature, but use its various angles more than expected. Touch screen also didn't feel would be of much use, but helps effect quick changes which would previously require menu surfing. Photo quality in dim indoor light is exceptional. Very quick service on the purchase as well.

Upgraded from G12. Took it to an outdoor music festival. Great pix and videos.
