With precise movements and simple controls, the BH-08 Professional Photo Aluminum Ball Head from Acebil is an intuitive option for supporting your camera. This model features a load capacity of 17.6 lb for stability when using heavy systems and it measures 3.5" high. It is lightweight as well at just 0.7 lb and the quick release system is Arca-type compatible. For adjustments, the BH-08 has a large knob that is a part of the Friction Control System for the ball head and a 360° panning function with an independent lock. I actually bought these (I own 2) to pair up with my Kessler Cineslider and they work wonderful. They support the weight easily and the photo ball head makes it very easy to level the slider. I will be using this for photos as well but for my intended purpose they are great. 5

My most versatile tripod to date. Probably won't go hiking deep into the woods to photograph a waterfall with it, but roadside landscape/waterfall/long exposure or macro shots is what I got it for. I am very please so far! The carrying bag it comes with is expcetional as well! 5

A very versatile tripod with a very smoothly moving center articulating column and very easy to use large buttons to change the leg angles. I had a problem with my tripod after 4 months and their customer service was 5 star. 5

My primary interests are in landscape and macro photography. This tripod gives me exactly what I need for both of these in a single package. In the few weeks I've had it, it's already proven to be very versatile and easy to use. The balance between stability and weight have worked out well for me. So much versatility. It's robust and easy to use for the most part. It's not as portable as some other tripods but that's not a big deal for me 5

What makes this tripod amazingly versatile is the ability to position the center pole horizontally and then angle it up and down as desired. The lever release makes this operation smooth and effective. I have another high quality tripod that can position the center pole horizontally but it can't change the angle up and down. I have to do that by adjusting the legs. A bit clumsy at times. This tripod does it using the release lever. Much easier to do. 5
