Turn your underwater strobe into a ring light with ULTRAMAX's Fiber-Optic Ring Flash Head Kit, which can be mounted onto the Fantasea FP7100, FG16, FG7X, and FG7X II housings for the Nikon Coolpix P7100 and the Canon G16, G7 X, and G7 X Mark II cameras. The apparatus is compatible with the ULTRAMAX ULTRAPOWER UXDS-3 Strobe, which is required but not shipped with the kit. The ring flash head is ideal for macro and super-macro shooting, and even allows for the attachment of accessory close-up lenses via the 67mm threads on the ring.

At one end of the unit is a large, anodized aluminum cap that fits over the front of your strobe. When the flash fires, sixteen coated, tightly-bundled fiber-optic cables transfer the light to the other end of the apparatus. There, the solid-core ends of the cables are arranged in a circle along the edge of the anodized aluminum ring that fits around your housing's lens port. The light comes through the ends of the cables, creating the ring flash effect.

Attached to the cap at the opposite end is a standard 1" ball mount, which can be connected to a cold shoe-to-ball adapter on top of the housing via the optional clamp. This setup will hold the strobe and the ring flash kit securely in place. When you want to use your flash as a regular external light source again, you'll be able to remove it from the fiber-optic ring apparatus with ease.

A: Other radio systems can be used via a cable to the 3.5mm sync port on the Neewer Q3 TTL Flash Strobe Kit BH #NE66600955. However they will be manual only with no power level control.

Q: 3. Will this work with the standard head for the AD 1200?

A: You can use this extension for a normal flash head or the ringlight.

Q: 4. Does this work with the Sony A7CII?

A: Yes, the Neewer Q3 TTL Flash Strobe Kit with QPRO-S Trigger for Sony will work with the Sony A7CII.

Q: 5. Are you sure this has a guide number of 72?

A: The Olympus UFL-3 Underwater Strobe Flash guide number is 22m or 72' at ISO 100 when used above water at full power. Olympus only list the guide number in meters, above water.

Q: 6. Is there a way to remove the aluminum collar and expose the tube (similar to the Broncolor Ringflash P)? Thank you.

A: NO

Q: 7. I have a Neewer Visions5 will this trigger work with that flash or vice versa, will the trigger from the neewer visions 5 work with the Q3 flash?

A: Unfortunately they would not work together. They are on different wireless systems.

Q: 8. Can I use this with P2400 Power Pack if I promise not to exceed 1200?

A: I don't recommend using it on the p2400. The one one time the power goes above 1200w/s the bulb will go. We have not tested this combination. In theory it will work but it is not recommended.

Q: 9. is this strobe compatible in RC mode with TG-3?

A: The RC mode on the Olympus UFL-3 strobe does work with the Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-3. Q: 10. Might this grip/strap work on my Olympus PT-056 housing for my TG-3?

A: The Olympus PT-056 housing only has one place on the bottom for attaching a grip or wrist strap. So the Fantasea Line Hand Grip Strap is not compatible. This grip is compatible with housings that have slots on the top and bottom of one side of the housing.The Fujifilm XP Series Rugged Floating Wrist Strap would work best with the Olympus PT-056. Incredible value. Very well made and as smooth on pans and tilts as my Sachtler FSB-8, but holds 14 lbs more and is way, way less expensive than the Sachtler equivalent. 5

This is a well-made, ring flash that produces absolutely beautiful, well lit shots. The unit has a metal exterior and seems very well made and durable. its easy to position your camera lens dead center with the heavy duty, multi adjustable camera mount. I love to shoot with the Sigma 105 Art Lens and was hopeful it's massive 105mm lens would fit inside this ring. I'm happy to report, it fits perfectly with the lens hood removed. Check out the images to see for yourself. If you have the AD 1200 pro and want a awesome ring light, don't hesitate to pick this unit up. If you have neither, get both and thank me later! 5

I snagged this on a sale and it might be overkill for my setup but the deal was too good. The tripod isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. The pan and tilt customization is great and very smooth. The tripod also looks sleek if that matters to you. I can trust it in any situation even when traveling. 5

Having owned the Bron RF grid kit in the past, these units, at US$13, are indistinguishable from Bron's offering and can be stacked, just like the Bron units. They're so cost-effective, that we've bought 3-4 more than we need, removed their grids and are are using the frames to build diffuser and CTB/CTO RF 'snap-ons'. 5

After years of using Sachtler tripods, switching to this TS100CF-Q has been a game changer. It can counterbalance my RED and Pictor Zooms. The variable drag feature enables precise adjustment of the shot, whether I'm aiming for a slow pan or a whip. With the pan drag zeroed out, It recently handled a 360 pan shot seamlessly—something that an OConnor head cannot do. I also purchased the mid-level spreader and feet.
