The EVO Gimbals GS-150 Mini Tripod Stand offers a convenient and secure way to stand your gimbal stabilizer on a flat surface. The portable design is foldable for easy storage. Since the cork base of the GS-150 is larger than that of the GS-75's, it can support the larger EVO gimbals for mirrorless cameras, such as the Rage series. Using the ball mount, small DSLRs and mirrorless cameras can also be supported by the GS-150 sans gimbal.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the head screw into an RRS L-bracket? (D610, xt1, or xt10)

A: It fits into my d600 with no problem. I currently use it on a Manfrotto quick release plate on a D600 with 16-35 vr lense.

Q: 2. Would this work for my Rode video mic pro to set on a stage with an extension cable to my camera?

A: I agree it would work. I have mounted a Nikon d7000 with 18-105mm lens on it and had no problems. Given the weight and size of the Rode video mic there should be no problem mounting it to this tripod.

Q: 3. could I spew my rode video mic pro that has a 3/8 thread or do I need an adapter?

A: You will need an adapter. The tripod has your tipical 1/4 20 screw mount.

Q: 4. Can I screw my Rode video mic pro on top of this to record a panel of speakers?

A: Pretty sure you'll need a 1/4 -20 to 3/8 adapter. Either that or figure out how to mount a cold shoe adapter to the manfrotto.

Q: 5. Would these work for flashlights calling for 18650 batteries?

A: Yes, if that flashlight works with 18650 batteries that have a button top.

Q: 6. Can you use it as a selfie stick?

A: You could. It isn't too heavy in my opinion. Selfie sticks I have seen are quite a bit longer, but with the legs extended, it would probably suffice. Realize it wasn't designed for that and likely will not work as well as a tool made for that purpose.

Q: 7. Is it possible with legs extended to use a shoulder support when panning a F1 car through a sequence of shots. Would the two legs rest on shoulders and other rest on your chest as a support.?

A: If one was using the Manfrotto PIXI EVO Mini Tripod, the way you describe, it would be a good idea to figure out how to secure that set up, otherwise the camera could easily fall.

Q: 8. Is there a quick release available for this item?

A: Unfortunately, no, Manfrotto does not have a quick release plate on the PIXI EVO Mini Tripod. If necessary, you may consider purchasing the Manfrotto 323 RC2 System Quick Release Adapter with 200PL-14 Plate, B&H # MA323, but this would reduce the tripod's maximum weight capacity to 5.06 lbs.

Q: 9. Can the angle of the legs be adjusted individually or do they all have to be set at the same angle?

A: The legs on this table top tripod can move individually

Q: 10. Would these work with flashlights as well?

A: If the flash light accepts 18650 batteries with a button top then yes.

It can hold up my Canon t3i/600D and 5D Mark III with a kit lens or 50mm or smaller. It's very portable and I love the ball head. A great piece of gear for traveling photography/videography.

I've been using it for about two weeks now, and it's a great little tri-pod. Had it set up to do a time lapse for about 30 minutes and it stayed put even with occasional gusts of wind. Worth the money.
