The black Dash 3 Stylus from Adonit lets you draw and take notes on systems outfitted with a touchscreen as well as iOS and Android-based mobile devices. When compared to previous versions of the Dash, this Dash 3 is outfitted with a 1.9mm tip and is constructed from new materials to provide a more natural writing experience. A click on the other end of the Dash 3 opens up any note taking or sketching app without having to pair the stylus with the device. The dash is made from aluminum and has a length of 5.6" and a diameter of 0.3". It's outfitted with a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 14 hours and charges within 45 minutes. Additional features include a carrying clip as well as a power indicator.

my Adonit Dash 3 today, and WOW was i surprised. Yes, it isn't a bluetooth stylus, so it doesn't have those schnazzy features like palm rejection and pressure sensitivity, but using Noteability and GoodNotes works like a charm, with Noteability in particular having great palm rejection built in. If you are buying this stylus for writing, it also works amazingly! (Just excuse my bad handwriting...). Noteability is my recommendation for using this stylus due to the built in palm rejection by the app, if you need a note taking app. 5

i've never used a specific apple pen. but this thing works great for the price and being universal. probably couldn't win an art contest with it, but it does write nicely if you hand write notes and works great for clicking without fat-fingering. this is my 3rd one. i lost the first. the 2nd one the top pulled out from charging. so, when you pull the pen off the charger do so carefully and pry it off to the side. don't yank it straight down. i paid $30 for this pen from BH whic is a great price. i would be reluctant to pay much more than that. but for $30-40 i will keep buying them as i lose them. 5

I use this for my new Huawei tablet, and it works great. Much finer tip than the crayon like passive styluses, and much finer than I can touch with my finger. It's a little wobbly for drawing, but again,better than I can do with my finger. Same thing for there being a little bit of an offset on where the pointer is vs where it draws.The charger to pen connection works great, but the usb plug on the charger isn't the most sturdy thing. So I just attached the charger to an extension cord and keep it there. I wouldn't suggest unplugging and plugging in the charger a lot.The stylus itself, though, seems very rugged, and lasts a long time on a battery charge. 5

Yes theres no pressure sensitivity or (I forget the term) but when you rest your hand on the screen and draw at the same time, it does not work. Otherwise, this pen is fantastic and works better than what I expected seeing reviews in YouTube. Well worth your money. Great build quality, no bluetooth requirement and convenient charging. Definitely recommend! (I use mine on a Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet) 5
