The black Techflex 2:1 Fabric Heatshrink Tubing is 48" of 0.5" diameter heatshrink tubing designed to protect hoses, pipes, and wiring bundles for installers and maintenance technicians in industrial complexes, office buildings, vehicles, and outdoor venues. It is woven from polyolefin and polyester yarns to create a flexible and durable fabric that shrinks to half its original diameter. It provides resistance to water, heat, and humidity, and protects against scuffs, cuts, and contact scratches. Additionally, it minimizes rattling and noise that would otherwise occur.

A: Grids are manufacture specific. The different brands do not all make or measure there boxes in the same way.

A: This grid is for Photoflex Litedome softboxes in the 16 x 22" size.

Q: 7. The description says it attaches with "touch fasteners". Does this grid have velcro to attach to the inside of soft box, or does it slip over the front of the soft box like cap?

A: The velcro attaches the grid on the inside portion of the box.

Q: 8. Will this fit a profoto (RFI) 5 ft soft Box?

A: Yes, fits fine in a 5 Octodome

A: Unfortunately not. The item is packaged in standard see-through plastic packaging.

I tried to find this review before I ordered but couldn't. I took the chance and was rewarded. It fits perfectly, and is $360 less than Profoto's. I'm sure the Profoto one is better. This one isn't the thickest material and the Velcro isn't as insanely sticky as Profoto stuff. But for the price I'll buy a new one every 2 years if it fails and still be in the green. 5

Great little item to help you get the light just the way you want it when the situation requires it. It mates perfectly with my 36 softbox and conveniently folds down into an easy-to-store size when I don't need it, which might be most of the time. 5

I use mostly Westcott light modifiers. I saw these (which are considerably cheaper than the Westcott alternative). I was pleasantly surprised. Sturdy fabric, good construction. The mechanism to release the modifier to switch angles worked better than on my Westcott products. My Westcott 3' Octa is my favorite modifier, however I now will be considering Angler modifiers. 5

I've only tested this so far with my 48 BoomBox. Easy to put on and take off -- there's a wide strip of velcro available around the edges of the BoomBox, and it definitely reduces spill from the softbox. I'm looking forward to trying this on some upcoming portraits shoots. I'm glad B&H included this with my BoomBox. 5
