Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello. What subwoofer would compliment the JBL EON208P system? Want to keep it as light as possible because I can't carry a big subwoofer. Thanks.

A: Maria, Depending on the output you'll need, you might find that you don't need a subwoofer with this system. The smallest portable subwoofer currently available from JBL is the PRX815XLFW, but this still might be a little large for you.

Q: 2. What is the model of the AKG microphone that is included? How long is the included XLR cable?

A: There is no model number specified for the microphone. It is a general purpose dynamic handheld microphone. The included cable is 15 feet long.

Q: 3. I'm a comedian looking for the best recording device for audience laughter. I have equipment to record my voice, but whats the best device for capturing as much audience laughter as possible?

A: A dynamic mic makes sense for its ruggedness ,but this type of mic is designed for a narrower pick-up and for relatively close distances. Consider an omnidirectional dynamic for stage use in clubs and a variety of live venues: Bogen Communications HDO100 Omnidirectional Dynamic Handheld Microphone B&H # BOHD0100.A recorder may also work well for you: Zoom H1 Ultra-Portable Digital Audio Recorder (Black) B&H # ZOH1

Q: 4. Can these also be used in a sound mixing/editing environment? (How flat is the frequency response?)

A: The EON208P is designed for small venue PA/performance applications and would not be recommended for studio applications.

Q: 5. made in? which country

A: The Shure SM57-LC is manufactured in Mexico.

Q: 6. Does the Royer Labs-121 come with a case inside the box? If so, is it the one advertised in BH for 50 USD? Same "q" for the Sh57

A: For the Royer Labs R-121 and Shure SM57 Guitar Recording Kit, the R-121 includes a protective wood box and the SM57 comes with a padded bag.

Q: 7. Does it come with screws?

A: Screws are not included. This listing is for the flange only.

Q: 8. What is the diameter between the mounting screw holes? (Have purchased other Shure flanges that differ in diameter between mounting holes)

A: The diameter of the Shure A12 Mounting Flange is 1.75" (44.5 mm) and the distance between the screw holes is 1.08" (27.4 mm). Here is a link to view the technical drawing: https://content-files.shure.com/KnowledgeBaseFiles/A12-dimensions.pdf

Q: 9. Can I connect this to my mac to use with garage band?

A: You will need an XLR to USB interface. Don't go with a cable, get an actual interface. Do a search for XLR to USB interface, M Audio makes some great products.

Q: 10. Can the SM 57 microphone plug directly into my Canon HF 100 HD video camera with a 1/8 (3.5MM) cable?

A: The Shure SM57 can be connected to the 3.5mm input of a camera. For the best sound, it is recommended to use a combination of XLR cable, and specially designed XLR to 3.5mm adapter. The Kopul LMT100 will match the low impedance output of the mic to the high impedance input of the camera. a href= http://bhpho.to/1yMIinD target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1yMIinD/a

I didn't realize this would not work for the wireless SM58 mics. If you have a hard-wired SM58 mic, this is a great little clip. But if using wireless, you'll need a larger clip.

I use this for Ham Radio. Excellent audio but needs some EQ to boost the highs in respect to the lows for communications.

I bought this clip to attach my Samson M10 to the boom mic stand I have next to my desk. My microphone fits in it nice and snug. The plastic is a little bit cheap and bendy, so it seems like it might expand over time ever so slightly, but for $5 it works great. Seems like it would fit most handheld microphones

legendary mic. Good EQ attenuation for many sources. Fairly high spl. I had some that were 20 years old and were beat all to hell. Still worked, but I think something internally was degrading, on one of them. At this price I just got two new ones and I'll use em for the next 20 years I expect.
