Q: 1. I am living in India. can i use 230V power for this

A: The Impact 4 Socket Fluorescent Fixture, B&H # IMFFS4, is designed for use on 120 VAC 60 Hz voltage, and would not be compatible for use on 230 VAC voltage. The Impact FF-OF4 Octa 4-Socket Fluorescent Fixture, B&H # IMFFOF4, would be a fluorescent light fixture that would be compatible for use on 230 VAC voltage.

Q: 2. Would this work with a Profoto A1?

A: This is not compatible with an A1.

Q: 3. Can I use Gobos with this or only slides?

A: This product is limited for use with slides only.

Q: 4. Has anyone tried using this with a continuous LED light source? Spiffy Gear says this product is not meant to be used with continuous light sources, and I'm confused why that might be. I assume it has to do with the device being plastic and not being able to withstand heat, but LED technology has gotten much less hot since this was released..

A: This is mean to to focus the light. Due to the size of the source of light. LED vs the very small flash tubes, it will not work.

Q: 5. In the pictures provided for this product it shows the product being used with a soft box. Is that soft box included with this product along with the stand? The portion where it says In the box provides no information regarding either or.

A: Hi John,Yes, the Box set I got came with the soft box and the stand. Hope that helps.Thanks.

Q: 6. Does the Dracast LED 1000 Pro Daylight put out more foot candles when using the CTO correction for 3200K mode then the Bi-Color 1000 does when in 3200K mode?

A: According to the manufacturer, the LED 1000 Pro Daylight LED Light would have more output with a CTO filter attached to it than the LED 1000 Pro Bi-Color LED Light when set for 3200 Kelvin.

Q: 7. What power strobe does anyone recommend? Any particular models? Thanks in advance.

A: Unfortunately, I just received my adapter with very high hopes. I used a Profoto 2400ws pack (Very Powerful) and at full power. I didn't get near the results that you get from a cheap speedlight. The speedlight is able to get right up against the slide. The adapter leaves the too much space from the strobe head and the output is extremely diminished. I recommend to skip the adaptor and just stick with the basic flash.

Q: 8. Has anyone used LED bulbs as replacements for the ones included? My local hardware store has 5,000K LED bulbs and they even will use less power (13W) compared to the ones supplied (26W).Also, the description say the fixture is only rated for 200W total. But the box it comes in says 600W total or 150W per socket. Has anyone received the 600W fixture and used bigger bulbs?

A: It can only support a maximum of 200 watts. You can use led lamps as long as they fit and the bulbs do not exceed 50 watts each.

Q: 9. What is the actual max wattage? the listing says 50w/bulb for a total of 200w. but the product manual says 150w/bulb for a max of 600w. but the sets come with 32w bulbs. so what is actual max the light head can handle without, ya know, blowing up?

A: It is important to note that there is a difference between the actual draw and the equivalent outputs. This fixture can handle up to 4x 50w E26 lamps worth of actual draw.

Q: 10. I have a small studio of 15x12 feet. I have a 2x2 soft box and a 36x48 soft box. Will the 600 light be sufficient for my needs for portrait photography, and would 400 work just fine or do I need a stronger light like the 600?

A: 400 would be more than enough in my opinion
