A: I do not have a GF7, but I have several other Panasonic 4/3 cameras, and all of them have a button of some kind on the outside of the camera which lets you choose between autofocus and manual focus. Perhaps you have yours on MF.Good luck. Charles Love

A: Yes, the Hasselblad XCD 135mm f/2.8 Lens with X Converter 1.7x can be used by itself without the converter.

Q: 3. What is the largest screen size I can get with this lens?

A: Depending upon the Panasonic projector this is fitted to, this lens wlil deliver an image diagonal (WUXGA 16:10) pf 442 from a throw distance of approximately 21'. That would be an image 375 wide by 235 high.

Q: 4. Will it work with the blackmagic 4k cinema camera?

A: Kindly take note that this lens was not tested with the Blackmagic camera and we cannot guarantee compatibility.

Q: 5. Does the lens + converter come with a tripod collar and foot?

A: Yes the tripod mount ring is included in the package.

Q: 6. Will this work for a Christie DHD555-GS projector?

A: Compatibility PANASONIC PT-D6000 and PT-D5700 Projectors only.

Q: 7. I know it says "dedicated X converter" but can the converter be used on other XCD lenses?

A: Due to the optical element of the X Converter 1.7x protruding into the lens, the X Converter currently is only compatible with the XCD 135mm f/2.8 lens.

Great bright lens. I use it for shots of my kids. Love the F1.7 to separate them from the background. Physically compact. A little pricey, but definitely a quality lens. 5

My new favorite lens. I got this to replace my Olympus 45mm 1.8 and I have no regrets. I love the image stabilization and the minimum focus distance. Great all around lens. 5

I have been taking photographs since I picked up my first camera while serving in the Army back in 1959. I shot weddings, worked for a newspaper and been published in magazines and this is one of the best lens that I have ever owned. A while back I gave my first 20mm lens to a son, but soon realized I had to have that lens. Today I shoot street and its size makes a difference in how I am seen. I don't look like a pro. I also own the 25mm, which is also a tack sharp lens as they both are, but that small size of the 20mm makes the difference for me. I mount this on my Panasonic GX7 and love how the work together. I have owned lens that cost three times as much that were not as good as this 20mm lens. 5
