    Hopefully this will be a waste of my money. But, if things go wrong, I like the coverage. For what I consider to be a fair price, I am covered for just about anything. I have used Canon's repair facility before. They are excellent and quick. Now I have coverage for the same repairs. Since I shoot high school sports there's always the risk of being hit by a ball or run over by an official or player on the sideline. So, it's worth it to be covered.

    If you take your camera out of the box, you must have a good protection policy! Anyone can have an an accident which can hurt or "kill" your equipment. I have been a photographer for over 50 years. Even I have had those accidents. One required the replacement of the motherboard, the heart of the camera. Without the policy the cost can get extreme!
