The Tiffen 105mm Coarse Thread Warm Soft/FX 1 Filter can be applied to create a warm cast over an entire image while purposely reducing the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles in portraits, or to apply a general soft-focus effect while maintaining overall sharpness. An array of small lenses distributed within the surface of this filter smooths fine lines and textures, which can be useful for creating a more flattering result of a subject.

The warming effect of this filter can be obtained under daylight when this filter is used on a film camera system with daylight film installed, or on a digital camera system with its daylight white balance setting selected. This filter's overall coloration reflects a mired shift value of +45.

This filter has a grade of 1. Grades of 1/2, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are also available where this filter type's effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase. When higher grade numbers are applied, a halation effect around highlights can be created to further enhance a subject's appearance or produce a desired effect.

This filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity. It is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Q: 3. Can this Nisi lens hood be used with Z 14-30mm lens ? Has any one tried..?

Q: 4. This works for a canon 80d + tokina 11-16 dx ii?

A: yes

Q: 5. So does this come with the 77mm adaptor? It says so in the specs, but the header says it's for 82mm??

A: The 77mm ring is included (or at least it was when I purchased mine). You can use it with an 82mm lens with an adaptor which can be purchased separately. You can read my review on my website, My Irie Time.

Q: 6. It says there is a requirement of After Effects 7, CS3, CS4 or CS5. Could you not use these sound effects in other audio editing programs?

Q: 8. Can I use on Canon 7 D or Cankn 5 D Mark 4?

Q: 9. Will this filter cause vignetting when used on Nikkor 14-24 mm/ 2.8 Z lens

A: I am not certain, but yes, it is possible vignetting may occur when using the Chiaro Pro 112mm 99-UVBT UV Filter on your lens. According to the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens instruction manual, Nikon states that shadows may appear at the periphery of pictures taken with third-party screw-on filters. As such, while we cannot test every filter on every lens, there is a possibility that vignetting may occur.

Q: 10. Does this make any difference when I want to use only 112mm Circular Polarizer without any ND filter ?

A: You can use a circular polarizing filter alone with this lens hood, without any ND filter--there will be no issue doing this.
