A: The interior length from top to bottom would be 15.5 inches.

A: There is one side zip pocket, 1 filter in a case will be safe... two however will likely be a tight fit if you are packing a gripped body.

A: The interior height is 14.5".

Q: 4. what is the difference between the Tamarac anvil 23 and 27?

A: The Tamrac Anvil 23 is 17.3 inches tall and the Anvil 27 is 19.7 inches tall for the interior. All other interior dimensions are the same but because of the added height, the Anvil 27 would be able to hold a longer lens and/or more equipment.

Q: 5. Is Holster 20 capable of a Nikon D850 with the mb-d18 battery pack fit, or is the holster 40 required? Lens lengths are modest, it's all about the body size with the drive. I cannot afford big lenses anyway, I already spent for the image size. Just a simple 24-120mm F4 EG VR is used.

A: The Digital Holster 40 V2.0 would be better suited for your particular Nikon set-up.

A: Yes this bag can accommodate a Nikon D800 equipped with a battery grip and the AF-S 24-120mm f/4 lens.

A: Yes the dividers can be removed.

A: There should be. The caveat would be 'What additional gear is being carried?' The dividers are Velcro and can be adjusted; however, if significant other gear is being carried, there may be some difficulty and with the camera and lens (total cost) how much risk is one willing to assume.

Q: 10. Could this hold a 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm lens along with a full frame camera body (Canon)?

A: No, this bag is too small to hold that gear.

This is a wonderful bag. It is quite small (fits my Canon EOS M6 with either the 15-45 or the 55-200mm lenses but not both), but that also makes it very trim and portable. The padding seems to be of good quality, and the zippers are heavy duty YKK. The small side pocket has most of it's space taken up by the included rain cover, though the cover is removable, which leaves enough space for a spare battery, a lens cover, and similar small/flat items. The bottom of the case does zip open and expand to allow for larger/longer telephoto style lenses. 5

I bought this case for my EOS M6 to use with both of the kit lenses (15-45mm and 55-200mm). It fits both without even unzipping the expandable part, though the extra space is nice for when a lens hood is attached. The attention to detail on this bag is really impressive, as is the build quality. I especially appreciate how protective it is of my camera (fairly stiff foam rather than the overly squishy stuff that you sometimes find elsewhere). I would say that the side pocket is extremely small - unless you remove the included rain cover, you won't be fitting much in there. Still though, for a holster, that is to be expected. 5
