A: Electro-Voice has stated that the TXA - TA4-Male to XLR-Male Adapter will not function with other brands of microphones.

Q: 4. Can I use old Marantz receiver:2230 with 30W RMS per channel ?

A: These speakers require much more power than 30 watts. I would recommend the Bose 161 Full-Range Bookshelf Speakers (Black, Pair), BH #BO161B, which can handle 10 to 100 watts.

Q: 5. Does the EKX-18SP come with casters (wheels)?

A: The Electro-Voice EKX-18SP does not come with casters.

Q: 6. Hi, am working in a venue with EVID4.2 speakers installed. I was hoping they are the 100v line version as they have the sticker for tapping on the back with a plastic plug in the middle. I cant find a "T" anywhere. Would these be 100 volt?

A: Constant Voltage / Transformer Taps 70 V / 100 V: 7.5 / 15 / 30 W or 8 Ohms Bypass 70 V: 3.75 W or 8 Ohms Bypass

Q: 7. I have a Zoom h4n recorder and I accidentally ordered Shure wireless CVL lavs. Is this what I need to convert them to wired? If so, any tips with settings?

A: Yes, the Electro-Voice TXA TA4-Male to XLR-Male Adapter can be used to connect the Shure CVL Lavalier Microphone to the XLR input on the Zoom H4n Pro Portable Handy Recorder. The TXA adapter will convert the mic's TA4-female plug to XLR 3-pin male and will also allow you to use phantom power from the H4n Pro to power the mic. The TXA adapter will convert phantom power to the appropriate amount of plug-in power required for the CVL to function properly.

Q: 8. Is it possible to connect these speakers wirelessly to eachother?

A: You can pair two Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 speakers via Bluetooth to a mobile device with the QuickSmart Mobile app installed to provide easy remote control of all audio functions. The QuickSmart Mobile app allows pairing and grouping of up to 6 speakers.

Q: 9. Is the plug a regular 3 pin XLR? Do you need extra modules? I already have phantom power.

A: Yes, the Electro-Voice RE-92L Miniature Cardioid Lavalier Condenser Microphone does have a standard size 3-pin XLR connector on the attached power module which allows it to be connected to a standard XLR mic input on a mixer, recorder, camera or amplifier that can supply phantom power.

Q: 10. Where is the serial number located? thanks, blake

A: On the box.
