Using the 2.4 GHz Godox X wireless radio system, the XProC TTL Wireless Flash Trigger can be used to effectively and reliably trigger flashes from up to 328' away, and when used with compatible flashes and receivers users will have the added benefit of remote power control. This model is compatible with Canon's E-TTL / E-TTL II system, including support for high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, and offers advanced control options along with settings for working with system-specific features. For ensuring maximum reliability and control, users can set up 16 groups on one of 32 channels and can then access 99 wireless ID settings for limiting interference from other nearby systems.

In addition to basic manual and TTL control modes, other settings are available, including stroboscopic flash and second-curtain sync. Users can adjust flash exposure compensation from -3 to +3 EV as well as wirelessly control the modeling light, zoom setting, and more. For using the XProC with other camera systems there is a 2.5mm sync port that supports triggering via a wired connection. Also, a USB Type-C port is present for firmware updates and the devices run on two AA batteries for convenience.

A: All of then have the same functionality to trigger and adjust all Godox X2 series flashes and strobes. Even the older versions can be firmware updated to work with current Z series cameras. The X1T is a lower profile device that sits on the hot shoe and allows a flash to be stacked on top. The XPro has a larger screen and more physical controls for making adjustments quickly. There are two versions of each style that are functionally identical just with different button layouts, however, the old version of the X1T is no longer sold as far as I can tell.

Q: 7. I have been thinking about purchasing the Godox Xpro N. I have a Nikon D850 and have read I need to attach a transmitter to the bottom? Can you tell me if this is true?

A: The transmitter XproN goes on the hot shoe (top of the camera ) and the receiver X1R-N goes at the bottom of the flash (hot shoe )

Although the Godox X1TO trigger unit has worked great in tying my three different kinds of Godox flash units together, this new XProO is an improvement in that it is quicker and easier to operate because of its new screen and buttons system. Ive been using it for a month now and its one of those rare things that just works when you need it without further thought. I havent encountered any negatives with it. Great design. Intuitive functions. 5

We initially waited on purchasing the pro trigger when we purchased our V860II and AD200. What a mistake that was. Having this trigger makes using our Godox flashes so much more enjoyable. It increases our speed to change settings, and works flawlessly. If you have Godox flashes, we highly recommend this trigger - you will appreciate having easy flexibility in a small package to fire your flashes off camera. We use this for outdoor portrait photography, primarily. 5

This trigger has a large, easy-to-use interface for controlling multiple flash groups. Menu is intuitive and controls are fluid. The Godox system is a very affordable, good-quality route to adding flash to your arsenal. 5

This is definitely the wireless trigger to buy. The other version (X-1T) covers the shutter speed dial on the X-T1 and X-T3 cameras (others probably too but I dont own any others) - you can still use it but its not optimal. This one is angled so that it clears all of the dials. Its small, inexpensive and does its job great. 5

Guys I purchased 2 triggers similar to this. In the beggining it gave me sooo much problems. First it kept giving me missed fires on my AD200s and 860 for nikon. Then it kept draining the batteries and then it would not turn on. Here is the deal. THE TRIGGER WORKS ONLY WITH ALKALINE BATTERIES. NOT WITH RECHARGABLE BATTERIES. Reason is the difference in voltage. After i place new alkaline batteries... pure magic. NO MISS FIRESS AT ALL. 5

So far I have no complaints as it does everything I need it to do. Feels like it is built fairly solidly but is made of plastic. One area that I could see being problematic over time is the contacts so will make sure to keep them covered with the little plastic sleeve that it came with. 5
