Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you fit both the dome and hyper optic adapter in it?

A: As there are no specifications for the ARRI Case for Skypanel X21, with Yoke Cables, we cannot confirm if both the dome and the Hyper Optic adapter would fit. There is another case (B&H # ARL20050474) that does provide some information regarding what it can hold, and it would be able to fit the Hyper Optic adapter.

Q: 2. Would this be ok to fly with?

A: I wouldn't fly with it, IMO it's not suitable for flying, only driving (hence the name). I suppose you could fly with it but it wouldn't hold up very long and I'd be concerned about the gear.

Q: 3. Can this case fit the Aputure Nova P600c?

A: Unfortunately, this Tenba Car Case is only for the Arri S60 Skypanel.

Q: 4. Will this case fit the Lupo Superpanel 60?

A: This case would be too small for a Lupo Superpanel 60. They do offer the Lupo Padded Bag for Superpanel 60 and Accessories (Black), BH # LU434 https://bhpho.to/2XnTeuA

Q: 5. Looking at the photometric data it shows this is of the 1st generation model. Is there any of the 2nd generation which has more intensity at 5600K?

A: The ARRI SkyPanel S360-C LED Softlight (Blue/Silver, Manual, Standard Diffusion, Edison) at 5600K at 3 meters with the standard diffuser is 6,444 lux, lite diffusion is 6,600 lux, heavy diffusion it is 5,311lux and with the intensifier is 9,544 lux.

Q: 6. what is the power draw?

A: The nominal power consumption of the ARRI SkyPanel S360-C LED Light is 1,500 W, while maximum power consumption is 1,600 W.

Q: 7. Can the dividers be removed and moved around in this case? They look like velcro dividers...

A: Yes, they can be removed and adjusted as needed. Your typical velcro dividers.

Q: 8. How much does the whole kit weigh?

A: According to Arri its 460lbs and the dimensions are 68"x30"x64".

Q: 9. I see people are using this with vortex 8, do you need to remove the yoke for it to fit?

A: If you are referring to the Creamsource Vortex8 2x1 RGBW LED Light, then yes, you would need to remove the yoke on the Creamsource Vortex8 2x1 RGBW LED Light Fixture in order to fit it inside the Tenba Car Case for ARRI S60 SkyPanel. The width of the Creamsource Vortex8 2x1 RGBW LED Light without the yoke is 27.2 inches (690mm), while the width with the yoke is 32.7 inches (831mm). The interior of the Tenba Car Case for ARRI S60 SkyPanel is only 31.9 inches (810mm) wide, so the yoke would need to be removed to fit the fixture inside the case.

Q: 10. If using with Vortex8, do you need to remove the yoke?

A: No. equipped with the right case you can travel with the unit as a whole. Please review the following item Creamsource Wheeled Hard Road Case for Vortex8 LED Light BH #CRCSV8HARDCS • MFR #CSV-8-HARDCASE https://bhpho.to/33LiI92

I plan to use this cart for travel as if it appears to be able to handle any bump in the road. My only regret? I'd not gotten the larger size. This is the way to go for anyone who has high end equipment & needs to keep it safe. One comment I would like to add, is, when the handle is fully extended the wheels are perfectly balanced. This way you don't have to worry about going up & down curbs. The AMRE 2600WF won't tip, or get away from you.
