U-ART 1.9" Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter

  • Allows longer operation with fewer signs of fatigue
  • Breakup is prevented by the folded diaphragms, distortions are effectively reduced to a minimum
  • Advanced dynamic range due to acoustically effective diaphragm surface that is 2.5 times bigger (compared to a classic tweeter according to the piston principle)

Air velocity ratio of 4:1 during the sound generation by folded U-ART membrane

  • Direct, fast response in the high-range even with complex transients

HPS waveguide from the S Series

  • Makes dispersion more consistent and imaging more stable over a wider area
  • Reduction of early reflections on the surfaces of mixing consoles, desks, and more

Lightweight polypropylene construction of the woofer

  • Excellent transient response even at high sound levels without breakup of the diaphragm

Vertical 2-way system with 7" woofer

  • High resolution of the stereo image

Rear-firing bass reflex port

  • Bass reproduction with very low compression

Linear frequency response of 39 Hz to 25 kHz

  • Unbiased reproduction in a wide frequency band

Maximum peak sound pressure per pair in 3.3' (1 m) 110 dB

  • Powerful, compression-free sound reproduction even at very high sound levels

DSP-powered crossover design

  • Smooth frequency response without interference between the drivers in the critical midrange

Simple room acoustic adjustments via high- and low-shelf filters

  • Allows optimal adaptation to acoustically difficult listening environments or individual preferences

Analog inputs over XLR and RCA

  • Optimized for balanced and unbalanced line signals

Acoustically optimized cabinet geometry

  • Reduction of unwanted reflections on the cabinets

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it have Bluetooth

A: This model does not have Bluetooth capability and I honestly do not know if this specific brand has a model that does.

Q: 2. Do I get a pair if i make this purchase?

A: You have to order 2 to get a pair.

Q: 3. thinking of these or the F5 to replace my audioengine a5+...i've read many good things on the f5 for a desktop/personal listening setup...but are the a5x more analytic, more pro mixing focused, so not as versatile as the f5s?

A: Both the F5 and a5x are great speakers and share some similar technology, however the amplifiers, cabinet and drivers are different on the a5x and are tailored more towards studio mixing/playback. The f5 is a popular choice for a great quality and accurate desktop speaker for home listening.

Q: 4. hi, i would like to see a graphical frequency response for the fostex 6301 N series? please. thank you so much.

A: There are no graphical frequency response charts available currently, however the frequency response range of the Fostex 6301N series is from 70hz to 15khz.

Q: 5. do each of the pair of speakers need do be connected to the computer by individual USBs in order to have remote access?

A: They do not. There is an XLR AES3 output is provided to route digital signal to the second monitor, necessary for correct digital signal flow.

Q: 6. Can I use it as desktop speakers?

A: Yes. These will work on a desktop. Isolation pads are usually a good option to ensure the desk does not resonate with the speakers. I would recommend using an audio interface for the best sound out of a computer, but a cable like this can be a less costly solution to output sound from a computer: https://bhpho.to/3yudNDe

Q: 7. Can this feed to my monitors? I don't have a sub ouput on my interface but want to add a subwoofer. What is the satellite output used for? Is that for my monitors that I want to daisy chain off of this sub??

A: Yes. You would connect your interface outputs to the Sub Inputs then Satelite Out to your speakers,

Q: 8. What is the frequency response?

A: As per Audio Technica, the specs for the ATH-E70 are as follows: Frequency Response: 20Hz 19kHz, Sensitivity: 109 dB/mW, Impedance: 39 ohms.

Q: 9. correct input setting?

A: The filter setting may be applied depending upon the specific needs of the room/set-up. There is no generic recommended setting.LF EQ (4-Position Selector): -9, -3, 0, +1 dBHF EQ (3-Position Selector): -1, 0, +1 dB

Q: 10. Did Rokit solve the black goo of death problem? I have a pair of Rocket 6s that are self destructing because of this goo.

A: KRK has not formally acknowledged the Black Goo Issue.

These sound exactly the way I was hoping they would. I was used to higher end monitors in a commercial studio I used to work for, but have gone through two sets of project studio speakers since then for my own studio. Amazing clarity and imaging. Love them.

I bought it for my guitar gig recording at home, but I really enjoy listening my hifi collection on this.
Great sound and bass is very fast and punchy for a 10x25 loft.
Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Cheers
