If you do not need the fastest transfer speed then this would work well with the latest MacBook Pro if 3A is enough to power your devices. It saves you some money if you do not need the USB 3.1 speeds. It comes in two colors and lengths.

I use the longer and the shorter version. I always liked shorter ones in a desktop or laptop environment. I like the longer ones when its connected to something that I often pick up or move around like a mobile phone. If you do not need the fastest transfer speed then this would work well with the latest MacBook Pro if 3A is enough to power your devices. It saves you some money if you do not need the USB 3.1 speeds. It comes in two colors and lengths.

I also have the 3A/15W version of this cable in black, and they both perform well. If you need the higher power throughput of the 5A/100W cable, then this is the one to get. Interestingly, the 3A/15W cable is slightly thicker than the 5A/100W cable, through both seem very well built. The 5A/100W cable has a more-rubberized feel.

I have this cable in several lengths, and use it for charging my Google Pixel 2. I was surprised to see that my phone shows "Charging Rapidly" (when used with the charger that came with the phone), as the charger is rated at 18W, and the cable is only rated at 15W. I guess that as long as it works, I shouldn't worry about it.

The cable is well made, with good stress relief at each connector. I did find it interesting that the various Pearstone USB 2.0 Type-C cables have different materials for the outer sheaths. The 3A/15W cables (both 3' and 6') have a slicker/smoother feel, whereas the 5A/100W cables (I have two 6' cables... one black, one white) have a more rubbery feel. The difference is neither good or bad... just different.
