Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this dive light feature an automatic SOS light feature?

A: The Tovatec Mera Dive Light with Camera does not have an auto SOS feature.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with a Meikon housing for iPhone 7 Plus?

A: The Underwater Kinetics Aqualite Travel Grip for Underwater Camera and Lights has a standard 1/4 -20 bolt. It could be attached to any housing that has a standard 1/4 -20 socket. We do not sell Meikon underwater housings. We suggest you connect a Meikon dealer. Underwater Kinetics Aqualite Travel Grip for Underwater Camera does not include the light.

Q: 3. I need a red filter for my tovatec camera and I can't find one

A: There isn't a red filter for the Tovatec Mera Dive Light with Camera. If there was it would filter the camera and the light so the images would be too red. If you move in really close to your subject the built-in light should correct the color.

Q: 4. Can this light use the uv-395 eLED lamp Head ?

A: According to Underwater Kinetics, the factory installed lights can be replaced with these ones as well.

Q: 5. will this battery pack work in will this battery pack work in the the UK Aqua Sun eLed ? if so how much of a boost does it give it

A: It does not look like this Underwater Kinetics Rechargeable NiMH Battery for C8 eLED L2 or Light Cannon eLED L1 Dive Light is compatible with the Aqua Sun eLed.

Q: 6. What is the color temperature of this lamp--warm, cool, or somewhere in-between? I would prefer on the warm side, like the halogen lamp it will replace.

A: This light specification is 2500 Lux, therefore the light should be a warm white color.

Q: 7. What is the best resolution to set for underwater video?

A: Just like on land it is best to set the camera at the highest resolution. You could always lower the resolution in the computer. You cannot increase it.

Q: 8. can the light bulbs be replaced by lamp owner if they ever go bad?

A: The leds on this light are not user replaceable.

Q: 9. Does it have a specific above and below-water setting? Is that why the brightness and runtime change above and below water?

A: Yes the Godox WT40R RGB Dive Tube Light (15") has an underwater setting which draws more power and thus offers a lower run time underwater.

Q: 10. Will this case carry and protect a Nikkor 300 2.8 MM lens?

A: Yes, however you will need foam inserts.
