Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How well do these stand up to heat?

A: Ive used clothes pins to attach these to Arri 1ks that get WAY too hot to touch and they dont even show the slightest signs of melting. They stand up to high heat cinema lights.

Q: 2. Is this product appropriate for artificial foliage?

A: Rosco has only confirmed that the Flamex Synthetic Fiber Flame Retardant can be applied to the following types of material: Nylon, Polyesters, Acrylics, Poly-Cotton Blends, Synthetic Velours or felts.

Q: 3. are there attachments to put into a godox ad600 pro?

A: To use these gels on the AD600 Pro, you can use the Aputure Barndoors, Grid, and Gel Holder for LS 120d/II and LS 300d/II LED Lights, which has a built in holder. On the other hand, there is also a specific gel kit such as the Flashgels Creative Color Gel Kit for Godox AD600Pro and Flashpoint Xplor 600Pro Strobes, BH # FL600PCREATV which fits to the glass dome. That being said, no holders are required. https://bhpho.to/2KeijTg https://bhpho.to/2SpbBh8

Q: 4. 15 color correction filters in key features yet there are 16 "In the Box"? What am I missing?

A: Nothing. The following unit comes with 16 different color filters. That is an error that needs to get corrected on site.

Q: 5. for that price for 3 gaffers tapes, is true?

A: No, if you read the description closely it says black; not white, gray and black like I was under the impression from when I saw the photo.

Q: 6. Will these gels hold up ok with 1000w continuous lights?

A: No problem, just make sure they're at the end of the barn doors (with room for heat to escape) and not directly against the front element of the light.

Q: 7. Can you clip these to the barn doors of an Arri 650 + without it melting like the other cheap gels?

A: You can use these on a Arri 650w. They are high quality and will last longer than budget gels however they are consumables, they will deteriorate over time.

Q: 8. Are these individually labeled? Thanks!

A: Just bought a set yesterday. They are not labeled. B&H described this 12X12 set as having 15 color correction filters, but yet in the box there are 16 filters. I counted mine today and there are 16.

Q: 9. Are these slightly rigid or very flexible? I wanted to make some cutouts for a gel holder.

A: These gels are paper thin, but are of very strong Resin. They are easily cut.

Q: 10. How long does a normal peace last. Can I reuse a section for long periods of time?

A: Cinefoil, given it's a heavy foil and more plyable can be used over and over.....kind of really depends on what and how you are using it. Cinefoil isn't like traditional foil where it can tear easily .....this stuff is bendable and foldable and can be very durable. So how long it last really does depend on what you need it to do and how well you treat it.To give you a timeline, I normally buy a roll of foil about once every 6 months (maybe longer) and we shoot weekly and some times daily. Its not uncommon to use a piece of cinefoil for weeks!Hope this helps=-) Shelley

You know how they say duct tape fixes everything? Well, it does fix a lot of things. But it also does it with a sticky residue and material that can degrade quickly/badly in adverse conditions. Gaffers tape is where it's at, and this is the good stuff. Get it.

I used the tape to stick black paper to walls for blacklight party. It stuck well and glowed great under the blacklight. Very satisfied!

Useful carry size. Tape works great. I haven't tried it on all surfaces yet. After time though the adhesive does leave a residue and is more difficult to remove. Best to remove after use.
