The cable works with a typical dynamic stage mic or a battery-powered condenser mic (phantom powered mics are not supported). The RCC-10-USXF is passive, and relies on your computer's native USB audio support for operation.

A: Hi, Yes the P-10 takes AVI/MPEG 4 formats. In fact anything that you play on your PC can be loaded into the P-10 via external source and played. You cannot edit the content but can trim the start/finish points. We have 2 x P-10 players and have found them to be the most user friendly and flexible components of our video production services. I use this USB extension cable to extend the range of my laptop with is tethered to my camera when shooting indoor studio shots of my family. Also, this extension cord will extend the range of any two devices connected that use USB connectivity. What else can I say? Works GREAT ! 5
