I had the 24-105mm F/4 G lens and was deciding if I wanted to sacrifice range for extra wide angle and a little wider aperture to go with this lens which costs a little more as well. I decided to give it a go and I was not disappointed. I carry a 100-400mm with me all the time so I still have reach if I needed but this lens truly has given me quality at the wide angle and even with portraiture because of its wide aperture. Sony’s GM lenses are the best. Here’s to hoping they have a Macro GM lens coming soon.
