A: There is no quick-release mechanism with this item. I've had mine for around a year and it's an extremely comfortable camera strap, miles better than anything I've used over the past many years. My only complaint would be the rather complicated strap adjustment mechanism which uses 4, yes 4, adjustment toggles. I put up with that because of the comfort.

Q: 9. Does this harness tend to sag over time & need frequent adjustment?

A: The ZEISS Comfort Carry Harness/Strap for Binoculars BH #ZEBHSP • MFR #529115-0000-000 does not sag. I've been using one for about 2 years. Just have to adjust depending on the cloths I am wearing

This is the perfect neck strap for heavy cameras. It's able to comfortably hold my 7 1/2 pound Linhof master Technika with ease. It's also padded with air chambers. 5

I paired this strap with Leica Ultravid 7x42 binoculars. Very comfortable. In addition, not many binocular chest straps have quick release connectors, this one does (very durable). It allows to share the binoculars with a friend and also remove them to bag for storage quickly. The harness is a little stretchy. Some would prefer the harness not to stretch, but women may like it. Overall, it is recommended for almost any binoculars. It is expensive, but worth it! I also like that Zeiss name is unobtrusive. 5

Well- made and well-fitted strap by Zeiss. Takes the load off your neck, as I carry a Zeiss 15x56 binoculars. Recommended for any binocular over 10x if not mounted on a scope. 5

Well made, bigger than pic suggests, embroidered ZEISS instead of printed. VERY comfortable with lots of padding on shoulder portion, especially when carrying camera with a larger Zeiss lens like my 24-70/2.8 ZA on the Sony A7R-V. 5

IMHO this is the most comfortable harness out there - fully adjustable, with elasticized straps for shock absorption. I bought this together with a Zeiss Conquest HD 10x56, a heavy bino. I could wear it all day - no neck ache, or back fatigue. No way you could get that with a neck strap. 5

Expensive but much more comfortable than previous shoulder straps on my binoculars, which always felt like they needed adjusting but adjusting did not ever make the strap comfortable or the binoculars in a comfortable place. With Zeiss shoulder strap I forget I even have strap on when I am out birding, the binoculars are just in a perfect position when I need them. 5
