This Spot Holographic Film Lens from Nila is an accessory for the Varsa V2 LED fixture. Its diameter is approximately 7" and it fits in the built-in slot at the front of the light. This lens allows you to use a color gel and barndoors simultaneously. Its 20° beam angle creates a narrow light projection ideal for illuminating small spots.

Some years ago I modified a Profoto Small Spot to take a Dedolight condenser and lenses to give greater flexibility. This was my goto light on almost every shoot for some years. this Westcott attachment has all the requirements for versatility including, and this is a huge point, inbuilt shutter blades. The only issue I found with them was I could not get really sharp focus on all blades at the same time in some situations. The reason for this is that each blade is sandwiched between two plates to protect it from the other blades. The remedy (you will void your warranty if you do this) was to reposition the shutter blades so they are next to each other so that opposite blades are on the same focal plane and there is very little separation between the two pairs. This allows very sharp focus on all blade edges at the same time. Brilliant solution for a spot, great design otherwise. To all those photographers who contacted me asking where they could buy the parts to replicate my Small Spot rig, get this - much easier than having 4 free floating shutter blades. 5

Best projector I have used. The way it enhances my lighting, I love it . Makes the light so much brighter compared to the other projection attachments I have. Gives you nice crispy or soft edges . 5

This is the exact same as the aputure spotlight for a lot more affordable. Made of solid metal, carrying case is very nice, and gobos are very versital. 5

I bought two of these after watching a review of these and a review of the Nanlite product by Gaffer Gear.. These seem to work much better on the Nanlite 500's than it sounds like the actual Nanlite ones do. Either way, I'm VERY happy with them. Just need to get the other lenses now - too bad the case only has enough room for 1 lens though. 5

Love this modifier! I've been looking for something like this for years. Some brands make great optical spots, but nothing for Profoto heads. This fits the bill and is a fantastic price point. No complaints! 5
