A: There is no quick-release mechanism with this item. I've had mine for around a year and it's an extremely comfortable camera strap, miles better than anything I've used over the past many years. My only complaint would be the rather complicated strap adjustment mechanism which uses 4, yes 4, adjustment toggles. I put up with that because of the comfort.

I recently purchased a Fuji GA645 and rather than use the shoulder strap fitting, I wanted to use a more comfortable wrist strap attachment. I find this very comfortable and light-weight. Plus I already have a BlackRapid shoulder strap so I didn't need to buy the tripod attachment ring. 5

I have the Blackrapid shoulder strap. This was the logical next step. Yes it is expensive but it's one of the cheapest things in my gear bag. The security it brings is worth the price. 5

I've been using this wrist strap with a Canon t5i and it has been excellent so far. It's been great for street photography use. As someone who finds shoulder straps rather annoying as they get in the way all the time, I wanted a small unobtrusive strap and this one is perfect. It's easy to attach and remove the strap from the camera, especially if you leave it clipped onto the fastener as you can simply screw it in and out of the camera's tripod mount. If the price seems high for a wrist strap, it's worth it. The build quality of the hardware and nylon is excellent. It's well made and feels very durable. I've had no instance of the fastener loosening on it's own with use either. Overall, I highly recommend it. 5

I've been looking for a good wrist strap for a long time. I've tried everything out there and when I saw this product I thought, okay, let's try one more, and it is the best decision I've made in a long time. I'm in love with this wrist strap! It is comfortable, it doesn't cut into my wrist, it doesn't bind, it's just perfect! I also like the idea that you can buy additional bolts to put on your other cameras (I have four) and just unhook yourself from one camera and hook yourself onto another. GREAT product !!! 5
