The PRIME Gold Series achieves 80 PLUS Gold certification with its 90% efficiency at 50% system load.

Seasonic's design keeps the output voltage within a very tight range, achieving under 0.5% load regulation, making this power supply a suitable choice for high-performance systems.

Seasonic's experience in designing silent and efficient power supplies on the market has translated into the development of Hybrid Mode, which helps enable users to keep the overall fan noise at a low level.

High performance Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fans are designed to take advantage of the impact absorbance effects of oil. They are reliable and generate less operating noise and heat than ball bearing fans. The lubrication of the bearing surface helps reduce friction and vibration and therefore lowers the overall power consumption. Due to the quieter rotations and its robust construction, this reliable fan technology also helps increase the lifespan of the fan.

When the fan shaft rotates, high pressure oil drifts along the grooves of the bearing sleeve to generate a thin layer of lubrication between the bearing faces. As the speed increases, so does dynamic oil pressure and the shaft is lifted from the bearing to create smooth rotations. The herringbone shape of the groves helps to efficiently channel the lubricant and avert leakage.

Seasonic's engineers have implemented a design feature where instead of cables, the back panel and the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) are connected by a copper plate. This solution not only lowers the chance of production errors during manual insertion but it also improves output power quality.

Replaced a failing PSU causing constant GPU issues. Initial voltage testing before installation is all within spec. No more issues since installation.

It has a button for hybrid fan control mode on the back, which lets the fan turn off with low load. This is the quietest PSU that Ive owned. Most of the time for me, the fan is off.

12 year warranty, need anything more be said?

I highly recommend you check out the jonnyguru review to find out more about the technical details.

I wasnt 100% sure about ordering a 750W power supply for my new workstation, since I tend to cram a lot of power-hungry devices into my desktop computers. But this power supply has worked out quite well so far. And, in a very pleasant surprise, they even included a free jumper adapter (http://www.performance-pcs.com/seasonic-24-pin-psu-jumper.html) to test the power supply without having to plug it in to a working motherboard. So far Im impressed!

My gaming PC with GTX 1080 kept crashing during gaming and I believed it had to do with the cheap PSU I had. After some research I decided on this SeaSonic unit since it is a brand many enthusiasts recommend, and it was having a $30 rebate at the time of my purchase. I was impressed with the packaging by SeaSonic, and I like that it is fully modular. The most important thing is that after replacing my PSU with this new unit, my PC has been running rock solid so far even after hours of gaming. I have not experience a single crash yet. Also it comes with 12 yrs of warranty which gives me a peace of mind.

The first thing I did when I received this Seasonic unit was to test that it turns on. It comes with a simple PSU tester in a white plastic bag with zip ties and wire ties. My initial impressions is that it is a quiet psu and comes with clear install instructions. It feels like a quality item with nice packaging and a 12 year warranty, which is a pretty confident statement. My first Seasonic psu, so will see how well it holds up.
