A: The unit hinges on the rail support at least 180 . The length of the rails all depends on where and how you will mount the unit. Ive done it in almost any direction and length you can think of at one point I was working off a cheese plate with stubby 4 inch 15mm rails coming vertically off the back but simple is the best. 2 long rails means you will have a sturdy easy to handle rig so thats what i would suggest. i shoot with a bmcc 2.5. I would pair with switronix xp-l90. good bang for your buck and comes with p tap and usb inputs very versitile

A: The 7.4v camera power port barrel size is 3.5x1.35mm. You can check your DR-E6 connector barrel size to see if it fit.

Q: 4. I want to power my BlackMagic VIdeo Assist 4K unit with this, but want to know if the power output is voltage regulated. is it?

A: The Pinch is voltage regulated so your Video Assist 4K is safe. We have not heard of any damage of any device caused by the Pinch. Also do know, battery operated devices have nominal voltage ratings meaning they are designed to work with voltage that varies. So even though the Video Assist 4K says 12DCV, it will work in the range of 10-14 volts.

Q: 5. This product seems to be the only V-lock/Gold-Mount camera rig power supply that has such a combination (D-tap, USB, 7.4V etc). It would be so good to know that I can power my GH5, EVF and Sony wireless audio link (via USB output) from this battery mount. Can a Lanparte expert please advise if the grounding issues have been resolved?

A: Not that we are aware of. This product is only compatible with Lanparte Dummy Batteries.

A: The 7.4 v output has inner/outer diameters of 3.5/1.35mm. The other ports are 5.5/2.1mm.

Q: 8. I want to use this plate for my fs700 rig and use with Pag link V mount batteries, will this work ? :/

A: For the most part V-Mount Batteries are interchangeable, so your Pag Link V-Mount batteries should work fine with this plate. You would just need a cable to connect the plate to the FS700. For that I recommend a PowerTap to Sony L Series battery cable.

Q: 9. Am I missing something here? I was under the impression that I pop the battery onto the plate, run a cable out of the plate and into the camera/monitor/ipad/etc... and that was all there was to it. HOWEVER, I get nothing. I have four Anton Bauer batteries that are all fully charged. I find it hard to believe that all four would have gone bad. Yet, when any of them are attached nothing happens. I've flipped every switch on the batteries and Lanparte plate I could find, I've used different cables and adapters - nothing! Now, I do get power when plugged into the wall via the charging cable. So I guess what I am wondering is - am I supposed to run D-tap OUT and then back IN to the 12vDC charging port to power the whole thing? or what? Could mine be defective? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

A: The unit may be defective. You should get power from any of the plugs. Are you getting power from the D-Tap?
