It features a simple flip-lever mechanism for clamping and releasing the capo with minimal effort. An adjustment knob on the bottom enables quick and easy variation of the tension, making it ideal for use with a multitude of instrument setups. Q: 1. Can you use this bracket with a Nikon D90 or D7000 with a battery pack attached. Will it be too crowded or not fit properly? Does this unit allow me to use my SB 600 or SB 400 flash units . Do I need an adapter to attach the SB 400. Curly cord to hot shoe? Can you suggest?

A: No; as stated in the Overview of the Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 Bracket, the Quick Flip 350 accepts all DSLR cameras or 35mm cameras except those with large, accessory battery packs or motor drives. If you need a taller bracket, I would recommend purchasing the Custom Brackets CB Digital-T Flash Rotating Camera Bracket, B&H # CUCBDT. You can purchase the Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Nikon SLR - 1.5' (0.5 m), B&H # VEOCSN15, to attach your flash onto the top of your flash bracket.

Q: 2. Hi, I'm wondering if this device could be used with round-headed flashes like Godox V1? Thank you!

A: Yes, but the Vello EZ-Flip Gel Set would not cover the round head completely.

Q: 3. I'm trying to find out what color gels are included. I'm particularly interested in orange (1/4 cut, 1/2 cut, 3/4 cut, full cut). Are they included? And is it one of each color (some companies provide 2 or 3 gels of the same color). Thanks!

A: There are three orange gels included in the set but they are not accurate CTO gels. I tested them with a color temperature meter and compared the readings with Rosco gels I have for my studio lights and I found them to be considerably warmer than even the Full CTO Rosco gels. For true color accuracy, I would recommend not using the included gels just cut down some Rosco (or other brand) color correction gels.

Q: 4. Can this support a canon mark III?

A: Assuming you mean a 5D Mk III I would think so. I currently use it with a 70D w/vertical grip.

Q: 5. Will the Vixen flip mirror (#37301) connect directly to the Vixen T-mount for Nikkon (#2680)or is something else needed for that connection?

A: You do not. You can just thread that T-mount right on.

Q: 6. What is the warranty on the Flex Shooter?

A: FlexShooter provides a 2 year warranty.

Q: 7. Will this cover the fresnel head of a Godox AD200?

A: While we have not tested it, we see no reason it would not work.

Q: 8. Will this work for a Sony A37 camera?

A: The position of the lower 1/4-20 screw (standard tripod thread) is adjustable; for a very large camera it can be moved to the left. There has to be a way for the camera to operate a remote flash. I and Brian L use a hot shoe flash cable . I bought one from B&H. The flash may be mounted to the bracket via the included accessory shoe mount or via the 1/4-20 screw on top that holds that mount.

Q: 9. Will this fit on a Canon 600EX II-RT?

A: Yes it does

Q: 10. Can the bracket be set up to use a Sunpak 544 shooting vertical images? If not which bracket will work?

A: No, the Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 Bracket is not designed for use with the Sunpak 544 Handle Mount Flash. You would need the Stroboframe Pro-RL Bracket, B&H # STPRL, along with the Stroboframe Flash Mount Adapter, B&H # STFMH, for your stated needs. http://bhpho.to/UL0R97 http://bhpho.to/1nilD6N

Purchased this because I needed something quick and cheap. I am very satisfied with what I got for the price. I need to tighten the arm joint a bit because it would flop over sometimes if I held the camera in the wrong position with the weight of my 430exii on it, an the hotshoe mount is just a tad looser than I'd like it to be, but overall it's a fantastic addition to my bag.

It's a perfect match for my Panasonic GH5. I need to use an LED light panel but didn't want to risk it breaking my camera's hot shoe. The Quick Flip 350 Bracket solves this dilemma beautifully.

I use this bracket at weddings. It works very well. Not too heavy and gets the flash a good distance off the camera. I had previously purchased a flip-flash bracket from Alzo Digital. It was around $ and worked very poorly. The Strobofome Flash Bracket does a great job at a reasonable price. Not surprisingly, it doesn't fit into an over the shoulder camera bag.

Eliminate shadows and red eye from having the lens and flash axis too close together. Easy to flip from horizontal to vertical compositions, Lightweight yet sturdy. Gives your SLR or DSLR and substantial solid feeling. This Stroboframe should give you years of dependable service

The unit is used primarily for weddings and group shots. The Bracket folds in the middle and will hold the strobe centered and at the same distance from the lens shooting horizontal as well as vertical shots. I have not found anything bad as yet.

worked as described. A friend recommended I get one. I ended up changing it around to have the vertical on the right because I use a grip for going vertical. Just had to remove the foam handle.
