The Neumann NU 67 V is a replacement power supply for the U 67 large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone. It is compatible with new and vintage U 67 mics and utilizes a 7-pin XLR jack for connection to your microphone. The 3-pin XLR allows standardized connectivity with microphone preamps, mixing consoles, and audio interfaces.

Dual fuses and auto-switching voltage enable safe and simple operation. The sturdy power switch minimizes accidentally switching off the unit and a large indicator lamp emits a warm glow when the power supply is on.

The NU 67 V ships with a power cable and features a top-mounted carry handle for easy transport.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use this mic with the Sony XLR-K3M on a ZV E10?

A: Yes you can use the Sony XLR-K3M with the Neumann KM 184 MT Microphone.

Q: 2. Does this work with the C500 Mark 2?

A: This is designed for Blackmagic products, we do not recommend it for the C500 Mark II. Instead we suggest the Core SWX Cube 200 Power Supply Kit with 4-Pin XLR Cable (6'), BH #COCUBE2006C. https://bhpho.to/2PlR0Wy

Q: 3. is this just for program audio or intercom party lines also?

A: I have 2 of them which I use with a intercom system for Multicamera shoots.

Q: 4. I want to extend the 4 pin XLR. Will any 4 pin XLR extension work? I'm seeing differing information among 'Laird', 'Anton Bauer' and 'Bescor' cables.

A: The male/female connector ends need to be paid attention to, as there are configurations of female-to-female, male-to-male, and female-to-male; the two ends configured for 4-pin XLR and not 3-pin. There are also shielded XLR cables that protect it from being disrupted from outside variables. The XLR cable should also be labeled as an extension cable and not just a power cable.

Q: 5. what AC wall cable should be purchased with this for use with the alexa 35?

A: The ARRI Power Supply Light 24V accepts cables that use the common IEC 60320-C13 inlet. For example, the Watson 18 AWG Universal IEC Power Cord (10'). See the link below: https://bhpho.to/3Hj5gcO

Q: 6. What type of microphone is recommended for Neumann KU 100?

A: The KU 100 dummy head ships complete with a microphone built into each ear for binaural recording. The unit ships with a 5 pin to dual 3 pin XLR output cable and can be powered via its included AC adapter, AA batteries or phantom power.

Q: 7. Would this work for a Remote Audio BDS system with a Sound Devices 664?

A: Sorry but BDS systems use NP1 batteries only thus they cannot be AC/DC powered. You can use a NP1 battery like this plus this kit.

Q: 8. Does this come with a power cord?

A: Yes, the Telex PS-20 come with an IEC power cable.

Q: 9. Does the power supply accept 240V AC?

A: The included power supply for the Sony C-800G Studio Tube Condenser Microphone that we sell operates at 120V AC. You can use a step-down transformer to convert the voltage coming from a 240V AC power outlet to 120V AC.

Q: 10. if the vacuum tube is dead, any spare vacuum tube that i can repair my self?

A: I would strongly advise against home repairs. First you will void the warranty as you are not a Sony repair technician. The mic takes a 6AU6 vacuum tube but with a mic at that price point it's not like swapping a 6L6 out of a Fender amp. I would very cautious as you say the tube is dead. Cracked is more common due to mishandling of the mic when the tube is to hot. But dead could be something more complex as to why it's dead. I would advise returning it to Sony and let them fix it.

THE vocal sound of popular music for the past 3 decades came from this mic. You can achieve great results with other mics. But this is a modern studio staple.
