With this orange, 15 ft long Tether Tools TetherPro USB Type-C Male to Micro-USB 3.0 Type-B Male Cable, you can connect a camera, smartphone, or other USB Type-C device to a computer, for the purposes of transferring data. This cable supports USB 3.0 for data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s.

If you connect a camera to a laptop and your camera is compatible with tethering, you can use this cable to help increase productivity during photo shoots. Rather than proof images on your camera's small LCD, they are sent directly to a notebook's larger, hi-res display. Seeing images in this way helps to review them for slight imperfections that you may have otherwise missed.

I purchased this tethering cable to shoot through Lightroom and the cable works perfectly and appears exactly as pictured. The only thing I regret is not getting the kit to provide for better storage options when the cable is not in use. But that was shortsighted on my part. 5

You cannot go wrong here. The cable works perfectly and has a durable outer coating compared to cheap cables. Spend the money to get a cable that will last a while on locations, either in studio or remote locaitons. 5

This changed the way I work for the better! I can photograph and cull at the same time thanks to this! This is a great tether cable for my 5dmk4. I've been hooked on tether tools cord for year and find it well worth the money. The hold up well and seem to be very sound after many hours of use and getting stepped on and rolled over by my cart and camera stand. 5

This cable is fantastic. I've shot tethered all day long and it never disconnected. The jobs I shoot tend to have people walking all over. I would recommend going with the orange cable if you're on the fence about color. purely for visibility reasons. the black looks pretty sleek though. sometimes i put a few small strips of orange gaff along the cord to make it more visible 5
