The Kaiser 40mm Push-On Lens Cap is designed to fit any camera, enlarger lens, binocular, tele-, micro-, or spotting scope lens. It is for lenses having a front or rear ring with an outside diameter of 40mm. The cap should fit snuggly but not so tight that it is hard to remove.

A: I shrunk this lens cap in the oven to about 97mm to fit my Tiffen ND Filter nice and snuggly. Put it on wax paper and pop it in the oven at about 140 degrees C monitor it closely. Took about 10mins to shrink it! Stay close to the oven and make sure tou dont melt it though!

A: Most likely. I used a 41mm Kaiser cap on an Arriflex lens as a temporary rear cap. The lens rear is 41mm. I just tried an actual Arri rear cap on my Leica's Summitar, and it fit.
