If you need to expand the system for more than 5 users, you can purchase the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base (B&H # EAHUB) which will replace the master headset (the electronics in the master headset provide the same type of functions as the HUB), and you can use up to 8 wireless remote headsets and one wired headset that will connect directly to the HUB for a total of 9 users. A: Im told they can be used with more then two but I only purchased two. The two are excellent and work great on a large yacht solving any yelling to be heard. You can speak calmly and softly and be heard perfectly. Connecting a lanyard to each is recommended.

Q: 9. Are these water resistant? Can you upgrade the battery for longer use?

A: No, the Eartec components are not water resistant. At this time Eartec does not offer a higher-capacity battery, but you can purchase additional batteries for the headsets and HUB which is the Eartec Rechargeable 3.7V Lithium-Ion Battery for UltraLITE & HUB Systems (B&H # EALX600LI).

Q: 10. Can i pair a older UltraLITE remote to a newer UltraLITE HD main? I can't get the older UltraLite into pair mode where it's blinking blue/red.

A: You may need to clear the main headset before you can pair the remote headset.
