Q: 9. Check your information: The stereomicroscope should not be confused with a binocular compound microscope, which has double eyepieces. The image in such a binocular compound microscope is no different from that obtained with a single monocular eyepiece. So, does a binocular microscope render images in 3D as you claim?

A: The term stereo and binocular microscope have been used interchangeably by different manufactures. Stereo microscope are usually low powered ones as in field or dissecting microscope. where you are looking at a dimensional (3D) object. Binocular microscope are high powered compound microscope where you are looking at a biological on a glass slide with a cover slide over it (non-dimensional.) 3D effect very minimal.

Q: 10. Is it an optical microscope?

A: Yes this is a Optical Microscope.
