Advance your hobbies or professional pursuits using the Barska AY13116 Student Stereo Microscope. This handy optic gives users a stereoscopic viewing experience with a heightened perception of depth, ideal for studying gems, insects, circuit boards, collectibles, or other objects or artifacts. The scope features a built-in 2x objective and includes two pairs of eyepieces, 10x and 25x, for a maximum 50x magnification. You can place your samples on the round base plate and secure them with two built-in spring-loaded clips. The adjustable work distance and a coarse focusing knob allow you to maintain ideal image sharpness. To ensure that you obtain maximum image brightness, the microscope also provides an incidental top LED illuminator, which can be powered by two user-supplied AA batteries or the included wall power adapter. To get you started right away, the microscope ships with seven blank slides, five prepared slides, a sample of granite, and forceps.

I would like to order also the Celestron 5.0MP Digital Microscope Imager (recommended as an accessory), however the spec information mentions that the imager will fit microscope eyepieces with 0.9" (23mm) and 1.18" (30mm) diameters. My microscope eyepieces diameter diameters are 30.5 mm – will the imager still fit?

    A: These are the only devices that are compatable, BRESSER MikrOkular Full HD Eyepiece USB Camera (Black) B&H # BR5913650 MFR # 59-13650 Celestron 2MP Digital Microscope Imager B&H # CE2MPDMI MFR # 44423 All other Camera adapters are too large a diameter for the microscope diameter eyepiece.
    
    Q: 8. Is it possible to view prepared slides with the Carson MM-840? Would there need to be a light source under the slides?
    
    A: Yes you should be able to view prepared slides, you can place a slide right up to the camera which has its own light source, focusing in can be kind of tricky sometimes it has a real hair trigger on the adjustment. hope this helps

Most earbuds hurt my ears. Not these. They fit just right, as if they were molded to my ears. They sound great, and the colors are very pretty. If I have to use earbuds for over an hour, I make sure it's this kind. 5

I like this style better than any other earphone. The Sony's are better than the competition in the $10 or less price bracket. They are also hard to find because they sell out in the big box stores. The result is that I stock up once a year or so. The only problem is that the wire gets stiff over time then they fail. I have repaired them but the stiff wire just causes more breaks so replacement makes more sense. 5

Found these at an overseas convenience store and was pleasantly surprised. Very light with thin, tangle-resistant cords makes these perfect for travel. Can't expect serious sound quality at this price point, but they work well and if you lose them it's not a big loss. Seemed not to stay in my ears at first, but once I figured them out the curves of the mold actually hugs the ridge just below the canal really well and makes them surprisingly secure for hard plastic. Love how open and light they feel in my ears and how easy they are to slip in and out without feeling like they will fall out on their own! Looking at replacing a pair I can't find after a trip. 5

I just bought my second pair of these because the left one stopped making sound after a few years, and just realized how little they cost. I bought my first pair when I lost the earphones that came with my iPhone, and kept using them because I prefer the sound to apple earphones. Excellent sound and volume, though I'll probably upgrade to a more expensive model soon to see if I'm missing out on anything. I hope sony has other earphones that don't go all the way inside your ears. 5

I've bought several pairs of these over the years, along with a few other sets of ear buds from other brands. These are by far my favorite. Squishy in-ear buds make me squeamy, and normal round buds hurt and fall out of my ears too easy. The shape of these is perfect, and they're extremely durable. The first pair lasted three or four years and two or three runs in the washer before one ear finally gave out. The second pair was great until I forgot it in a classroom and lost it. My third pair is holding strong and going on three years. I only wish they'd make either a Bluetooth version, or at the very least a version with a microphone. 5

I have been using quiet 25 for yrs. And this pair of small earbuds actually sound better than qc 25, except that it does not have noise canceling. these small guys are economic but they are definitely not cheap. The low price is probably the result of highly matured dynamic drivers production. 5
