The Mossy Oak camo 12x42 Blackhawk Binoculars from Barska are engineered with a powerful magnification for long-distance viewing, and moderately sized objectives to extend its usability into the predawn and twilight hours. Fully coated optics help to increase light transmission while enhancing image contrast and color rendition. This optical performance, when combined with a large viewing angle, provides an immersive observational experience for novices and advanced amateurs alike.

Complementing the versatility of the Blackhawk's optics is a nitrogen-filled housing that delivers fogproof and waterproof performance in all weather conditions. Twist-up eyecups, nonslip rubber armoring, and comfortable 17mm eye relief make the Blackhawk binoculars easy and comfortable to use. With the higher 12x magnification, visible hand shake will be more pronounced, and holding the binocular steady for long periods may cause fatigue. To help minimize shake and vibrations, they come outfitted with a 1/4"-20 tripod mount so it can be used with a variety of optional support systems. This item ships from the manufacturer in clamshell packaging.

Q: 2. Which full size tripod rubberized tripod would you recommend for this sporting telescope, which does equipped with the right mechanical adapter?

A: The Barska Pro tripod BH# BAPTE66CC.

Q: 3. can i see a 22 hole at 100 yds , what is the closest range i can use this at ?

A: I use mine to zero in a .308 at 100m so I'm pretty sure you could see a .22 hole at 100 yards. Its a very nice scope. I used to sell them, and several years later i remembered how good they were and finally bought one...

Q: 4. How tall is the tripod? It looks like it's almost a tabletop tripod, but I will be using this at the beach so I'll need something that can be looked through while standing up.

A: This model comes with a small tabletop tripod. If you needed something larger I would recommend going with the Manfrotto MK393-HM Photo-Movie Aluminum Tripod QR Kit. Website link to the tripod: a href= http://bhpho.to/1tBLePC target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1tBLePC/a

Q: 6. Will this work with the Vivitar T-Mount to Nikon Z-Mount Adapter?

Q: 8. What is the maximum depth for the waterproofing?

A: The waterproofing dose not refer to the scope falling into a lake. It refers to rain aand snow storms. Water falling on the monocular.

Q: 9. I have trouble with binoculars as my eyes are not level. Which monocular would you recommend for wildlife viewing? Thanks.

A: Hi Michael, I cant use binoculars either, also due to eye issues. This presented a bit of a challenge for an amateur birder. The Barska 10 x 40 Blackhawk Monocular is the first and only monocular I've owned and I am so pleased with it that I'm not looking for another one. I can see birds in flight, and perching at about 100 feet, with crisp clarity. My Barskas give me an even sharper view than my husbands Bausch and Lombs, with far superior eye relief. My husband has a pair of Leicas as well, and I think my Blackhawk gives me just as great a view (really!). This has been true for both daytime and twilight viewing. Couldn't be happier with these. Hope this helps.

Q: 10. What would be the ideal magnification with a 42mm aperture for safari viewing? Is 12x with the forehead mount crazy to consider?

A: For Safari 8X, or 10X is what is recommended. You will most likely be using these at Dusk, or Dawn. So you will need good magnification for low light situations. The Forehead Mount is great for if you are holding them for a long period of time, absolutely.
