A great little tripod for the price, well suited for smaller cameras such as mirrorless cameras (used with an Olympus E-PL5). Leg locks open and close easily, while the lock to allow spreading the legs wider is a little more difficult, but still easily done while wearing gloves. With the lower section of the center post unscrewed, it gets down low enough to ground-level to satisfy most uses. The smallest section looks quite spindly, and can be left retracted for greater stability and a lower, but still quite useable height. The ballhead is sufficient for the E-PL5, although not as easy to get to a point where it can adjust but hold position as with a larger ball. Once locked, it is rigid enough. My least liked feature is the quick-release plate, which appears to be a dedicated pattern. I added a small Arca-style clamp onto it to allow using standard dovetailed quick-release plates, at the expense of a little extra weight. The collapsed tripod is not the smallest or lightest, but is a very reasonable balance between size/weight, stability, and cost for users of smaller cameras.

Tiny but mighty! About the size of your thumb. Tough, all metal construction. Light 1/8 turn of the knob is all that's needed to lock the ball solidly. Rotate and tilt in every direction. GoPro, phone, probably an SLR, whatever.

I've been a fan of Slik since the 90s when I had a giant trigger ball for a giant VHS camcorder.

This item is very small and lightweight. I purchased it for one purpose only, to mount my Gopro camera on a medium light stand. For that purpose it works perfectly, and I give it 5 stars for supporting this camera. However I would NOT ask it to support much more weight than that of a Gopro camera, or similarly sized item.

This is the second Slik Sprint Pro that I’ve bought. The first has been so good, that I got this one for a two camera set-up. Compact and light, it’s easy to use and easy to take with you.

This little ball head is great on a monopod so you can tilt the camera for vertical shots. And I use it on flash brackets so I can aim the flash in the desired direction to bounce light off of walls and ceilings.

tonnant comme Trpied dans sa Catgorie, il fait Toutes les Hauteurs courantes de bas en haut, assez rigide par rapport au poids, le seul questionnement ( vrifier), la tout petite tte semble assez forte mais je vais essayer de changer la vis du plateau rapide pour viter que la camera SLR tourne en position verticale car elle est trs compacte, lgre et solide; j'ai aussi une autre Ball Head + forte et c'est Super; Il fait un peut de Tout pour le prix de 6.2 62 de hauteur! Pour l'apporter en Voyage, je dvisse la Tte pour qu'il soit plus court environ 17; j'aime les trois poignes en caoutchouc bonne prise ferme et isol du froid, le dclenchement des diffrents angles des pattes est discret et rapide! CLIP rapides et simple pour chaque section, J'ai ajouter un crochet sous la colonne centrale. Ce trpied peu se comparer d'autre + gros et supporter un bon poids surtout avec une meilleure Ball Head; Beau Trpied!

This tripod is very easy to take along. It is big enough for any job that I have and small enough to take on a hike out in the woods. Well built and easy to set up and take down and pack away. I am very pleased with the performance.
