Transmit uncompressed, 1080p60, 10-bit, 4:2:2 video up to 985 ft with the CINEGEARS Ghost-Eye Transmitter 150M V2. It safely supports up to four receivers (sold separately) simultaneously on each channel; moreover, it's cross-compatible with all other Ghost-Eye versions (100M, 150M, etc.), so you can connect to longer/shorter range receivers if you'd like.

Whether in a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configuration, your HDMI or SDI signal is carried with a low latency rate of less than 1ms in the license-free 5 GHz frequency band. A minimum range of 492 ft (150 m) line-of-sight is ensured, while the maximum range is 985 ft line-of-sight. (It has even been successfully tested at much longer distances in open spaces.) The transmitter is also capable of HDMI/SDI cross-conversion, so you can input a signal via HDMI and output through SDI on the receiver end or vice-versa.

Small obstacles in the line-of-sight are compensated for by an adaptive signal logarithm, keeping your transmitter and receiver connected. For safety, signals dropped due to interference or a loss of line-of-sight are automatically relinked within 1ms of the obstacle being removed - auto-relink and improved hardware for a more stable connection are the new features in the V2 version. Other features of the transmitter include AES-128 signal encryption and plug-and-play installation.

The 150M transmitter comes with two paddle antennas and a Sony L-Series battery plate. Batteries are sold separately.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many 150M V2 can be used simultaneously at the same location on different channels? any setup limitations?

A: It may be possible to have up to 4 of these systems working at the same time. However it is important to keep in mind that these units operate over a public frequency band. So how many you'll be able to use will really depend on how free the frequencies are in the area you are broadcasting. We would advise you to only try and use one or two at a time.

Q: 2. Is this kit working smoothly and well by sending the signal from the hdmi out port of the atomos ninja flame ? (I know for example that paralinx have some compatibilities problems) Thanks!

A: We have not heard of configuration problems such as you mentioned. That is not to say they do not exist but that we have not heard of them. We can say we see no glaring reasons why this would not work as you wish.

Q: 3. what type of battery it uses?

A: This system uses Sony NP-F style batteries like the NP-F770. https://bhpho.to/2bRUc5Z

Q: 4. Does this support PAL videos?

A: Yes it does. This system supports both PAL and NTSC signals.

Q: 5. How long does it take to connect the transmitter to the receiver? Thanks!

A: Once the transmitter and receiver are set up and powered, pairing the two is supposed to be instantaneous.

Q: 6. One of my trans/recvrs is dropping signal alot... just purchased less than month? What # can i call to get support??

A: I had a problem like that, I tried changing channels and this didn't work. I found out that it was another unit trying to connect to my receiver. I asked the owner of the other unit to turn off his for 5 minutes, he did and it aloud my transmitter to have a perfect connection. After this happen they turn on the other unit and we were able to work until the end of the production, which it was a week. Keep in mind that mine needed to be connected first. I hope this helps.

Q: 7. What is the difference between the 984 and 992?

A: Do you mean 492? If so, that question has been answered.

Q: 8. Is the frequency tunable? Can I select a specific frequency in the 5GHz range?

A: You cannot select a specific frequency. You can pick from the 10 preset frequencies I don't know exactly what the frequencies are but they are probably not in the 5Ghz range.

Q: 9. This unit is compatible with cameras blackmagic 2.5k, 4K, Ursa, Ursa mini, Sony FS7, FS5, FS700, EX3, and all RED ???Do you have any feedback on the reliability of this product?

A: Since this unit has both SDI and HDMI inputs and can read all common FPS rates, we are of the opinion that this should work with all of the cameras you mentioned. No feedback here yet as to reliability.

Q: 10. Can Video Transmission Kit 150M V2 supports Version 1 Receivers on Each Channel signal receive?

A: Yes it should. According to Cinegears this is compatible with any Ghost Eye receiver, including the first version.
