VL81 vs VL100C Bought both to see which I liked. Both bright, both have same functions, dimmable, color temperature, attachments. But.....the VL81 is better, maybe a little brighter, my opinion...... 5

Even though I've only had this for about 2 weeks, I have used it many times. Its battery is very long for being a light, (the USB-C Charging port is also super helpful) it has a wide range of brightness levels, and the temperature dial is also a neat and sometimes helpful feature. Although I haven't used this out and about, it works very well for lighting a green screen or softly lighting a room for night-time shots. I use this mainly for lighting my green screen and as a key light for videos. The $20 price point is absolutely worth it, and I might just buy a few more. 5
