Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use LED bulbs with this?

A: Unfortunately, no, you cannot use LED bulbs in the Impact Octa Fluorescent Kit. The Impact Octa Fluorescent Kit is specifically designed for spiral CFL fluorescent lamps up to 85W maximum. LED bulbs generally have a heatsink at its base, and 4 LED bulbs this close together might not fit and could cause heat issues. CFL bulbs also have two advantages, they have a wider beam angle so they can fill the soft box completely and produce softer diffused light.

Q: 2. COULD I USE THE EPSON ECKO INKS, IN MY CISS INK SYSTEM, INSTEAD OF USING CISS INKS?

A: I buy it for a friend. Regards!!

Q: 3. What is the minimum working height of the stand?

A: The minimum working height of the light stand that comes with the Impact Octa Fluorescent Kit (B&H # IMFFOF4Q) is 34".

Q: 4. What's the difference between this and the GI-21 ink bottles? What would happen if I used this in an incompatible Pixma G3260?

A: The wrong ink would not fit your printer. The nozzles are "keyed" to prevent putting the wrong ink in the wrong printer as well as to prevent putting the wrong color into the wrong tank.

Q: 5. "approximately" how many feet will this last for printing?

A: HP unfortunately does not print a figure for this. But it depends in part how much of any given ink is in an image or series of images.

Q: 6. will this fit in the SP-UM with a 10 or 12 reflector?

A: I bought the 12 reflector to check. The 4 socket adapter does fit inside and screws into the SP-UM fine. I have 4 Eiko 40w CFL's and all this fits inside the reflector. They all stick out way past the reflector, but not restricted from using it.. I am curious to find out if the 105w CFL's fit next to each other in this 4 socket adapter, or if the adapter sockets are not spread out enough.

Q: 7. Will this work with the Impact SP-UM fixture?

A: Yes. It's works whith any E26 Edison base. I use it with four 40W incandecent lights and works great.

Q: 8. Can I use LED floods with this?

A: The light does not specifically say in its specifications it can or cannot use a screw in LED light. The fixture uses a lamp that is E26 Edison screw in bulb. It is a regular kind of screw in bulb. So technically if the led light does not need ballast or any electronics and has that all built in to the bulb you can use that fixture. Note that it has not been tested with that type of bulb.

Q: 9. Is it possible to peg gels on the rim of these lights?

A: While you could use wooden clothes pins to attach gels to the outer lip of the reflector, it is not recommend as this would be unsafe. A safer solution would be to use a filter holder in front of the light. Please see the link for reference: a href= http://bhpho.to/1hMMuds target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1hMMuds/a

Q: 10. What is the size of the cartridges

A: The Canon PFI-300 Photo Black Ink Tank is a specially formulated LUCIA PRO ink, designed to be used with the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-300 printer.
