A versatile and portable dual-sided light modifier for controlling and directing light, this LiteDisc White/Gold Circular Reflector from Photoflex has a 42" diameter, and can collapse down to 16" in diameter. The front side is a metallic solid gold color that produces a strong warming effect. The reverse side is neutral white and offers a softer quality of light with maintained color balance. The fabric is double-laminated for high reflectance and durability, and uses a double-riveted steel spring frame to ensure a consistent shape over time, while maintaining a flat profile when expanded. Additionally, a dedicated carry bag is included for storage and travel.

A: I see no reason why it should not be possible. The only problem could be the heat from the light, if the distance is to short. As I have not used the reflector together with tungsten light, I can not give you any guidelines on the distance needed.

A: This folds up to about a 22" circle.

A: You can clean reflectors a little with a damp cloth, but ultimately they are consumables that will get dirty or fall apart and need to be replaced.

A: With this diffuser, you would lose about 1.25 stops of light.

A: This diffusion disc would be about 1 full stop.

Ideal for light weight travel pack when I don't want to carry lots of heavy equipment. It is great for shooting macro photography of flowers and also for a few quick portrait shots in bright sunlight. I'm very pleased with its usefulness. The only complaint I have is with the SLOW order processing and shipping from B&H. Why don't they process orders within 24 hrs. instead of 1-4 days?? 5

I can reflect light onto two people posing for a portrait so easily, I don't know how I managed before! This makes a great addition to a smaller litedisc. I'd buy it again and reco it to all serious photographers 5

I've owned larger sizes that have lasted for years with regular use. I wanted something small to carry at all times and this fit the bill. I mostly use it to diffuse sunlight when photographing flowers/gardens. 5

I took this on a shoot with a couple of kids. It was raining a little but still provided great light and the kids had a blast with it. This tool instantly turned my photos from amateur to near pro. Amazing improvement. After the shoot I set it out to dry then put it in its nifty case for next time. 5

This works well as a reflector, a backdrop and it's a terrific diffuser. I keep a variety of Litedisc sizes and colors and use them frequently, both inside and out. They allow me to better control the light without resorting to extra light sources. Along with a good tripod, a set of Litedisc with a stand or two provide tremendous bang-for-the-buck in light control. I often use them with the Manfrotto backlight stand when doing macro in the yard. Gives me more light and opens up the shadows - or - neutralizes direct sunlight when it appears too hot. 5
