Wanted this for a while and jumped on it when it was in deal zone. I've never been good at getting smooth slides with other systems. The build in flywheel is amazing! Simple push of a button and on the first attempt got my smoothest slide ever.

super easy to use but these are heavy FYI! You can however feel the extension if the ends are perfectly balanced and flat which was hard to do outdoors in dirt on tripods

I saw this on a Deal Zone deal and jumped at the purchase after reading glowing reviews about the Magic Carpet PRO. All of the reviews were right on...incredible construction, great features and a butter-smooth flywheel. This one comes with a really nice case as well. This slider is a real joy to use.

I am in love with this slider. If I have one complaint it's that I wish the 3' track had a mounting point in the center. I prefer to mount the center to a tripod and use monopods on the ends and can't do it with this, but I really can't complain.


The slider carriage is absolutely fantastic and the built-in flywheel makes my CineSlider feel pretty clunky in comparison.

I've been using the edelkrone slider for the last few years and have just been fed up with the poor build quality and constantly having to replace belts. I nabbed this while it was 50% off and the difference is night and day. This slider is solid. The flywheel makes consistent slow movement effortless and the slider doesn't dip at the far ends like the edelkrone does. Only downside to the slider is that it is heavy, but that's a worthwhile trade off. Very happy with the purchase.

Smooth as butter and holds heavy cameras. The fluid head quick release comes in handy all the time.

I purchased this slider to have a smaller footprint alternative to my Dana Dolly system (which I also love when used with a crew) that was more travel friendly and required less setup. For shorter track runs this 2' version accomplishes just that and can be used with a single tripod or stand.

Compared to other slider systems, this is the smoothest I have used in this size by a large margin. This can be used for macro or long lens work especially when using the flywheel system which tapers the start and stop movement. I am also considering the 3' extension.

Bought this kit separately from the Syrp Genie II 3-Axis Kit. Normally use the 3' rail and great to have the ability to extend to 5'. The flywheel feature is really nice. If you are looking for a solid and smooth slider that looks like it will last a very long time look no further.

While on a documentary shoot, I rented one for the first time last week. I love it. It’s very well built; much larger and heavier than I expected. I used it with the Manfrotto 502 head and a Canon C300 mkii. VERY smooth and easy to set up. It’s a little pricey, but will last for a very long time.
