Dedicated to the Sony HVL-F60RM and HVL-F60M flashes, the FA-EBA1 External Battery Pack helps to reduce flash recycle times as well as provide more flashes per session. Using a battery magazine system, up to eight AA alkaline or NiMH batteries can be used to offer up to approximately 660 flashes per set of batteries, along with fast recycle times of 0.6 seconds. This magazine can also be used with just four AA batteries in place, and when in use, this pack will be used as the priority power source in order to alleviate power drain on the batteries in the flash.

The battery pack is dust- and moisture-resistant for use in inclement conditions and the cable connection points have been reinforced for improved reliability. Additionally, the included protective pouch can be used to mount the battery pack to a tripod leg or other stand for hands-free use.

I have been using the Jupio PowerVault during video sessions with my Sony A1. Works as advertised. For a device about the size of a pack of cigarettes, it holds a surprising amount of juice. The only problem I have had is that the power button does not shut off the battery pack if it is plugged into the camera and the battery will slowly drain. The button only works when you remove the dummy battery from the camera or disconnect the wire from the battery while leaving the dummy battery in the camera. When not connected to the camera, the power switch works fine. Other than this small glitch, money well spent. 5

Iâ€™ve had this battery for about 4 months now and it, along with my fa200 dual cam setup, havenâ€™t let me down. My morning commute is only 20 minutes but with the iVolt hooked up to the fuse box I get a minimum 8 hours of parking detection mode in a busy parking lot. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to increase vehicle security. 5

With the Jupio external battery pack I no longer have to buy several batteries and chargers that were previously a must for a full day of photo and video coverage. The external pack is very compact, about the size of a bar of soap that easily fits in a shirt pocket or can be attached to a camera rig very easily. 5
