This style of stand has been around for decades. The original ones were made of aluminum and very, very expensive. I could never justify the cost. The ProX version of the EZ-Tilt is much more affordable. I have two of them and love both. The only change I would suggest is to not use the foam rubber between the stand and the console. This cannot survive just because of how heavy the consoles are and the fact that the road case extrusions cut into it. I would suggest a hard plastic that is screwed into the stand with countersunk screws to prevent scratching the case.
Bottom line is that these stands are great! I am able to stand up my consoles by myself if needed.

The functionality of this bracket makes it competitive against others in its class. The one touch release enables you to get the same shot horozontally and vertically at the touch of a button. And you don't have to worry about repositioning your flash. It also allows you to lock the camera in position.

I love the wheels. I had a silver one before but I hated how heavy was.
This is really nice. Even has a little padding to support your desk case. Really happy with it.

Strait out of the box the bracket was easy to assemble and easy to plug into my camera. It synced flawlessly with all my flashes. The thumb trigger is awesome. This bracket has improved stability and lighting options for my business great for portraits and weddings. It dose have some weight to it but combined with a neckstrap and a can of man it's an amazon piece of equipment.Jamean Berry...
