This aluminum adapter screws on instead of the ocular eyepiece of your Beast C-336, Night Probe, or Night Probe Mini clip-on and clamps it to your scope's 40mm objective bell. The anodized aluminum adapter utilizes a lever for a quick clamping action to your day scope and provides a strong connection between your thermal clip-on and the riflescope.

When I received the scope I received in a small plastic bag the pins and the locking mount screws. It would be nice to specify how many actual screws are used for INSTALLATION not just for the sake of inventory in the package

A: The Bering Optics 3.5x PU Mosin-Nagant Scope should have arrived with a set of 3 side mount screws #BE55037 (part number for screws). A set of 4 screws for the base, #BE55034 and a set of 2 pins. There should also be 3 scope ring screws.

Q: 5. What is the largest caliber it is safe to use on

A: The AGM Rattler TC35-640 Thermal Imaging Clip-On is rated up to .308.

A: No, the AGM Rattler TC19-256 Thermal Imaging Clip-On (50 Hz) does not have an adapter for 40mm objectives. Currently they only have adapters for other sizes.

When you decide that a variable power optic will be used for your weapons platform (hunting, LEO, MIL) you need to decide how and when you will adjust your magnification. A throw lever makes this transition under stress with gross motor skills very easy. I find this product shines the most when your adrenaline is pumping through your veins as you attempt to focus your optic, as you hear the crackle of leaves from an incoming buck. Its not cheap but its built like a tank CNC'd with precision and ready for battle. 5

I've been using the SV-4 on my Strike Eagle 1-6 for about 18 months. I have never had to adjust it in any way. It works great and is an option that I think should be standard on this type of scope. 5

I bought the Vortex Viper HS-LR for my rifle. A throw lever makes changing the magnification much easier without having to remove my eye from eye relief. 5
