When I received the scope I received in a small plastic bag the pins and the locking mount screws. It would be nice to specify how many actual screws are used for INSTALLATION not just for the sake of inventory in the package

A: The Bering Optics 3.5x PU Mosin-Nagant Scope should have arrived with a set of 3 side mount screws #BE55037 (part number for screws). A set of 4 screws for the base, #BE55034 and a set of 2 pins. There should also be 3 scope ring screws.

My very expensive Canon 12x36 IS III 5 degree image stabilizing binoculars came without lens caps for the objective lenses ( Canon does not make covers for the objective lenses. The said the carrying case is the only protection for the lenses. Go figure??). The B&H photo fit perfectly. You would think they were made for the Canon binoculars. 5

I purchased this Push-On cap for a 24mm manual lens with 55mm filter threads. The edge of this cap is 1mm thick, so 57mm minus the 2mm diameter difference is the just right 55mm OD. Fits snuggly without effort. I used a box cutter to remove the eyelet on the edge of the cap so that the cap would be sure to stay put as I remove it from the lens' storage sack. It's pricey, but that's to be expected when it's Made in Germany. It does the job. No regrets. 5
