Q: 2. What is the difference between this M1250B microphone and the M1255B microphone?

A: The Audix M1250B and M1255B are effectively the same however the M1255B is more sensitive for distant miking purposes, whereas the M1250B is intended for close mic positions.

Q: 3. Does it come with a cable? the in the the box tab does not show it coming with one.

A: Yes it comes with an xlr cable built into mike. I believe its 20-25 long. I used these mikes for community play performances.

A: You can use the Rolls MP13 Mini-Mic Preamp (B&H # ROMP13) to power the Audio-Technica U851Rb Cardioid Condenser Boundary Microphone, then use an XLR female to 3.5mm TRS male cable like the Kopul XRSM 3-Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm RA Stereo Mini-Plug Cable - 3' (B&H # KOXRSM03B) to connect the output from the MP13 to the 3.5mm TRS input on the Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini HDMI Switcher.

A: This mic requires connection to a device that supplies phantom power via XLR.

A: The Audix MicroBoom Carbon Fiber 50 Boom attaches to any microphone stand with the included MCBOOM mic stand adapter. This adapter allows for the total control over the angle, rotation and position of the carbon fiber boom.

A: No, I have not found one yet.

Q: 10. I'm theatre director in a school with a carpeted (throughout-including stage)lecture hall venue that we use as our theatre. Maximum size- 300 people. No curtains, fly space, wings, etc. Quality Sound has been tricky for years. Would this be appropriate for my situation?

A: We bought two of these for our church and they worked well. However, I not sure we are using them to there best ability. They did allow people to hear the drama btter. Hope that helps. And I believe you have a 30 day return policy with B&H.
