IT has good length on it and the end fasteners or the cable part appear to be thicker so they don't start braking down and fraying like many of these cables tend to do. The integrity of this cable should last longer than the stock ones from apple although it's hard to say how long the effectiveness will last without trying for over 6mo. 5
