Designed for high-speed photography and videography applications, the 128GB CFast 2.0 Memory Card from ProGrade Digital work with digital cameras that are compatible with the CFast 2.0 standard, which utilizes the SATA III 6 Gb/s interface. It features read speeds of up to 550 MB/s, write speeds of up to 415 MB/s, and minimum guaranteed write speeds of 130 MB/s, thanks to the VPG-130 standard. All of this allows for the capturing of 4K, 3D, and Full HD content using Canon and a wide range of other devices.

This CFast 2.0 card has also been built with SMART technology and is able to withstand temperatures ranging from 32 to 158°F while operational, or -40 to 212°F while being stored. Please note that this card has not been tested with ARRI cameras.

Q: 1. The minimum write speed of 130mb/s seems high. Can it be reduced to say 10mb/s if I was shooting and interview in 1080p LT?

A: Hi Zachary, I think you are referring to VPG130 which means that the card will not go below a write speed of 130MB/s. If the camera only requires 10MB/s the card is more than capable of handling that speed. I hope that helps.

Q: 2. Will this work with my Nikon D5 ?

A: No, you need XQD cards. Or Compact Flash cards if thats the version of the D5 you bought. Read your camera's manual, it should tell you which one you need. But this is a CFast card and Nikon doesn't use them at all.

I shoot wedding videos so I need a card that writes and reads fast enough to dump my footage while I fill my back up and then can use it again. I shot a a 12 hour wedding with this card and it excited my expectations. 5

Yes, CFast cards are still expensive. But ProGrade (when it comes in two-pack) are very affordable considering they are fast enough for 4K 60fps RAW and Im not afraid theyll stop working mid-shoot like some of the cheaper options. 5

No one ever wants to spend money on either cards or batteries... but honestly its the most important thing in your camera bag and without good ones, it really doesnt matter how good your camera and lenses are. I put off buying this because, well, for the money Id rather buy lenses or cool gear... until I had to shoot 4K onto a basic CF card and instantly regretted that decision. If you shoot video in either a high frame rate in Full HD or higher or 4K this card is a must. Originally I cheaped out and bought a 64GB CFast 2.0 (even thats expensive) and got 15min into an interview at 4K and got a Card Full error. My advice; dont get anything less than 256GB and if possible, buy at least 2. Not only will your file not split (if shooting on a DSLR like the 1DX MkII) but transferring your files to a computer is soooooo much faster!! 5

I have had for a few months no issues. Doesn't transfer to PC as fast as I would like though. Starts out at 300mbps and then goes to 95. 5

I use it all the time, its never failed. I dont do raw recording so I cant speak for that, but I usually just stick to prores and 4k shooting and its worked great. no complaints 5

This card works wonderfully with the Canon 1DX ii. I had an issue when I first got the card, I was testing it at a local park before I took it on an actual shoot, and half of the videos didnt end up being saved. But I learned that it was NOT the card itself, it was the workflow to set up the card correctly. CFAST cards need to be DEEP-formatted before use, and deep formatted regularly. Not to be confused with regular formatting inside of the camera, a deep format takes a lot longer. I would recommend visiting Delkins CFAST website where they explain this. Once I began doing this Ive had no issues. Great for shooting 4k 60p footage on the 1dxii! 5

These cards work flawlessly recording 4k 60fps footage on my Canon 1D X MarkII, there are no mistakes or bugs. I took photos with them as well. I really like that the price is lower than other CFast cards, which is why I ordered 4 of them, and it gives me about an hour of 4k 60fps or 1080HD 120fps footage, and the quality of the cards is superb. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone who shoots with 1D X mark II, Arri, or other serious cameras. 5

Purchase this CFast card to use in my BMPCC 6k camera and I am pleased to report that it has worked perfectly. After the shock of the price subsided, I found that it handled every format of video recording from the BMPCC 6k camera without fail. 5
