Sturdy piece of metal! I recommend chucking the included pole adapter and combining it with a VESA monitor mount for light stands (5/8 male pin aka baby-pin). That way you have a setup that is an industry standard in BOTH the film and music industry. I even mounted a full-sized keyboard on this. I highly recommend this product. 5

Our historical society does many presentations to membership in the course of a year. The old and much larger a/v stand worked well but it's too much cart for the typical use that it's designed for. This is a minimalist cart but very well made. Heavy duty components and simple assembly make this a good choice for others also no needing a massive cart. Platform sizes are just good enough but be careful of the larger projectors. Check your measurements before buying. For the historical society, it's perfect. 5

This is to serve as a tether stand for a laptop computer, less than the brand names and will serve the purpose at considerably less cost. Replaced the projector (top surface) with a larger monitor attached to the plate with some zip ties and works great. Goes together in 10-12 minutes and has locking wheels. Very well made unit and somewhat heavy but I would prefer it being sturdy to withstand any bumps or tangles that could upset the entire unit with it's contents. 5
